Yes, this deserves its own thread. Just picked this up from Sam's after trying a sample of chicken cooked with this. The chicken was coated with it and cooked in butter and was simply amazing.

Last night, I put some on some Salmon and it was exquisite.

Pick some up and start using it and thank me later: Garlic Sriracha

saw this at the store and almost pulled the trigger... will definitely give it a try... is it spicy?
It is, but definitely not overwhelming at all. It's a good spicy that even people that don't like spicy food can tolerate (yet still enough kick that's good for those that do like spicy food).

I have been using the Weber brand of the garlic sriracha spices and have to say I love it.I did some chicken yesterday with it and then brushed some honey butter mix for the last 20 minutes of grilling and it came out great.

I will look for Tone's and report back.

I've found that you really want to rub this into whatever you're cooking it with. Previously, I had just sprinkled it on the salmon I made. Today I made sure to really press it into it and the flavor was exponentially better. A solid layer of this on salmon and seared in a little bit of oil for a few minutes....perfect.

Is it just me or is Sriracha the new cranberry? It's in freakin everything these days. I've used it for years and now it's doubled in price!!!!

Perhaps Congress should investigate. That is way above the rate of inflation. These prices are an infringement of our Constitution right on the pursuit of happiness.

This is why when you find something that is awesome that no one knows about- you don't tell people about it. That way no one buys the stuff and then eventually the thing you buy goes out of business.... but hey, it's cheap still!

it's certainly a double edged sword

I grilled some pork chops over the weekend and did the same and it did wonders for even more flavor. This is really good with fish, pork and chicken.Anybody tried it with beef yet?

Just made some wings with this stuff:

For about 2-3 lbs of wings:

2 tablespoons of baking powder
1/2 tablespoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
2-3 teaspoons of paprika
1-2 teaspoons of Tone's Garlic Sriracha

Mix those ingredients together and coat the wings.  Get a baking sheet, line with foil, then put a rack on top and place the wings on the rack.  425 degrees (convection if you have it) and bake for 20 minutes.  Turn wings, then bake another 20 minutes.  Finally, broil for 5-10 minutes for extra crispiness if desired.

You can then coat these with any sauce.  Mine was fairly simple with a couple small additions that I think made a huge difference:

Butter
Louisiana Hot Sauce
Few shakes of Cholula Chipotle Hot Sauce (Important depth of flavor, IMO)
Some more Garlic Sriracha seasoning
