I love Texas Stadium in Irvin, Texas.I'd rather listen to Michael Irving or Emmit Smith than this guy!
Sing it, sister!Kornheiser >>>>>>>>>> Joe Theisman and/or Dennis Miller
I actually liked Dennis Miller at the beginning but I have hated Kornheiser from day one. My hatred for him grows with every MNF broadcast.Kornheiser >>>>>>>>>> Joe Theisman and/or Dennis Miller
Did I mispell Michael too?I love Texas Stadium in Irvin, Texas.I'd rather listen to Michael Irving or Emmit Smith than this guy!

Korny-heiserHes trying too hard and it shows with the bad jokes.
I like watching him and Wilbon go back and forth on PTI, I think it's entertaining. But he's just plain annoying on MNF.
Yes, because the proper reaction is to wish physical harm on the guy.You stay classy, Oklahoma.I'd rather listen to Michael Irving or Emmit Smith than this guy!Why on earth did they bring him back???

Win the Lotto and then pay Lewis to paste him.
I thought that is what the show was last night. A 3 hour Vick interview and analysis, and occasionally showing some football footage of his "former" team.what bothered me was NOT hearing him last night. Instead of calling plays and analyzing the game, they had the sideline reporters interviewing media about vick.

said this in another thread, but i found it ironic that they would spend so much time discussing whether harrington could step in/up as qb, yet they didn't call a single play of one of his td drives because of the interview with the atlanta reporter.at one point, i decided to mute it and turn on the radio broadcast, but the usual station was carrying the mets gameI thought that is what the show was last night. Get used to that. Theismann was being intererviewed locally and said that the powers that be wanted MNF to be more "issues oriented"(and no necessarily football related "issues") and that they didn't like it that he was always dragging the conversation back to football. I guess they figure that Jaws will go along with the program.Mystery Achiever said:what bothered me was NOT hearing him last night. Seriously? I guess I'll have to find the radio broadcast and turn the sound off on ESPN. That's not why I watch a football game.Get used to that. Or maybe it's just that Joe is a #####.Get used to that. You're serious? IMO you've got the arrow going the wrong way.Kornheiser >>>>>>>>>> Joe Theisman and/or Dennis Miller
I'd rather listen to Michael Irving
Whether or not he sucks is irrelevant(they all suck. The radio announcers are superior). He says that they told him they wanted to be more issues oriented. Based on what I've seen, his comments have merit. As for Theismann, he's no worse than any of the other clowns they continue to parade before us. It does appear that some are so happy to see Theismann gone that they have actually fooled themselves into thinking that Jaws is actually good in the booth. Thankfully I don't have to listen to any of them. I tune them out and turn on the radio. There I have my pick of 3 different crews(all of whom are better than anything on TV). Best thing about the radio guys is that they stick to football.Or maybe it's just that Joe is a #####.Get used to that. Wilbon knows so much more than Tony about sports it isn't funny.
Well, if that's the case you need to find a substitute for the terrible MNF crew. Radio is the answer. The MNF crew is going to give you very little of what you want if you are a true football fan. Doesn't matter who they stick in there, the production is the problem. The powers that be don't want them talking about football all the time. They want Tony K to read those ridiculous emails. They want "issues". They want Taric(terrible football announcer) and his deadpan delivery(90 yard bomb or 2 yards and a cloud of dust. To Tarico, it's all the same. Ho Hum).I don't watch MNF to laugh and hear jokes.....I watch it to enjoy the game of football. I agree with many of the posts in this thread.
Fine I'll just refer to him as "The Boring Guy" or "Mr. Snooze".Fellas, it's Mike Tirico. Can you guys just write that down on a little yellow sticky before you post in here and butcher his name (or just not know it at all)?
No. Can't do that. Tarico, Tirico. Terico..Doesn't matter. He's just not that good.Fellas, it's Mike Tirico. Can you guys just write that down on a little yellow sticky before you post in here and butcher his name (or just not know it at all)?
Every forum must have some type of spelling police. Thanks for filling in the void.Fellas, it's Mike Tirico.
