Tony Romo owners (1 Viewer)

Out of Mind
Originally I drafted Alex Smith as my backup but that situation is not going to work out. I'm looking at the waiver wire this week and I'm considering Pennington/Clemens vs. Buffalo. Buffalo isn't that great against the pass so that might work out. I'm interested to see what others are planning for this week, any sneaky QB starts you are rolling with?

Interesting.I had also drafted Alex Smith originally to back up Romo, but dropped him after 2 or 3 weeks (just before he got injured-ironically enough).I picked up Griese 2 weeks ago to get around it.

I guess I may be trying another route. I'm trying to package a deal with the Peyton Manning owner. I'd give him Romo and another player for Manning and one of his other players. He also has Derek Anderson who he could use this weekend against the Rams. We will see how it works out.

I drafted McNabb as my #1 this year and Romo as my #2. Romo took over week 3, and McNabb has been licking his chops for this week. After this week he's on the trading block.

Alex Smith was also my plan. Looks like he is going to play. I just picked up Clemens and will start him over Smith if he's starting.

Bulger vs the Browns.

Will have to drop QB Alex Smith this week due to also having Owens, Crayton, White and Engram on bye at WR.

Got lucky nabbing Griese a few weeks ago for this week alone. Detroit!
I grabbed Griese last year at the end of an inaugural dynasty draft to backup grossman knowing that grossman would be on a short leash and that Griese would eventually take over. Keep the guy off the sauce and he can be a stud.

I was also trying to target Griese this week, but in a trade. I picked up Warner as bait for a trade a week ago but I can't get the owner to bite because he's afraid of Warner getting hurt.

I drafted Cutler to back up Romo. Was getting worried early on in the season, but I think Cutler is starting to come around and feel more comfortable starting him this week.

My backup..was..WAS...Schaub..

but dropped Schaub and picked up Lemons in 1 league..

in another...mite drop Schaub and pickup Griese

That's what I did. Traded Romo/Portis/S.Young for Peyton/Bush/D. Williams. It can be considered an extreme way of dealing with a bye week situation but you do what you gotta do.

Starting Kitna and I'm really hoping he can do a little better against Chicago than he did against Washington and TB.

I have Jason Campbell and they're up against New England.

I swear, it seems like my players are going up against New England every week and my opponents go up against Cincinatti every week.

My rostered backup is Pennington (traded Ben 2 weeks ago). I think I'm going to get out of the Jet situation (Chad could get hooked after 1 INT) and bid whatever it takes to get Griese off the wire.

I love Cutler on the cheap right now if you can trade for him. When Javon , Marshall and Scheffler are on the same field at once it should be sick.

WW wise, I' go T Edwards this week. He has a decent matchup

I'm a Romo owner in a serious bind, I've been holding on to Losman thinking that he would be starting once healthy enough but that isn't going to happen. So i'm left with WW options:

Carr/Testaverde v IND

Rosenfels @ SD

Jackson/Holcomb v PHI

Dilfer/A Smith v NO

Needless to say this is an ugly situation, made uglier by the fact that i'll be out of town this weekend with limited internet access, so need to try and decide by tomorrow.

14 team, redraft.

I'm really tempted to offer Romo for Manning straight up, I just hate to make a move based on 1 week. I think Romo will be bigger down the stretch. :IBTL:

Had no backup, picked up Pennington :bag:

If they stick with Chad one more week, this might not be a bad thing. He could have a nice day vs. Buff. ;)

Had Gerrard on bench for whole season waiting for this week. Whoops.

Got "lucky" and snagged Griese from waivers.

I also have Witten on bye so I grabbed G. Olsen. Looks like I am rooting for the Bears this week
