I'm in a masters redraft IDP league, Our veteran draft is complete.I have the 1.11 rookie draft pick in a 12 team league. What would be your top 10 players to go after? Here's my list, then we can go from there.BrownBensonWilliamsArringtonEdwardsWilliamsonHeath MillerMerrionWareDavisRuud

Weeeeeell, I wouldn't put any rookie IDP on my list of potentials at 1.11 in a redraft league - I wouldn't even do that in a dynasty rookie draft. But that aside, the most valuable IDP's are going to be a few who are witch-like in the #'s they put up at their positions, e.g. Kevin Williams, Julius Peppers, Ray Lewis, etc. None of those IDP guys you listed are even close to that level. I'd try to pick up Rudi Johnson at that pick.

The veteran draft is already completed, we are starting our rookie draft in a few days.

your top 7 look good.after that :mike williams would need to be on that list somewhere.mike clayton close behind.that makes 9.depending on your scoring system any 2 of these should be next.alex smith in qb dominated leagues.reggie brown could easily become the #2 WR in philly.eric shelton &frank gore have the best chance to start out of the rbs.then maybe after that start considering IDPs.with davis, ware or d.johnson in the next round.

eric shelton &

frank gore have the best chance to start out of the rbs.
What happened to DeShaun Foster? He looked very good the last 2 years filling in for Stephen Davis. Isn't he the starter going into camp? I was counting on him taking over for Davis.

All right, that was important information. In a redraft league you're looking for rookies who will start right away on defense. That can be a rarity even among the "best" rookies. The guys who I'd expect to do that would be:

Pacman Jones

Carlos Rogers

Rolle

M. Jackson (maybe)

D. Johnson

Crowder

Merriman (watch for a holdout though)

Ware (maybe)

Thurman (maybe)

Ruud (maybe/doubtful)

Burnett (maybe)

Fincher (maybe)

Blackstock

L. Mitchell (dark horse)

Among these, IMHO the "surest" bets to start week 1 or shortly thereafter would be the top 3 CB's and LB D. Johnson.

What reman said..... you didnt mention when you originally posted all of the info needed to get feedback. At 1.11, all the offense starters will be gone. Of the remaining defensive players left, I am in total agreement with redman. I doubt, unless you have some glaring weakness in your vet roster that any of these players should ever be in your starting line up, unless there is some rookie requirement you didnt mention.

is Foster healthy yet ?for how long ?

kellumsboys, you havent read the question since it was edited. This is a redraft league, and the vet draft has already been done. Now, this league holds a seperate rookie draft. So, it's only about the rookies. Foster is healthy, for the time being.

He was replying to my comment on Foster.
