I see him as an all or nothing guy...like most QBs, it's going to depend on his ability to make decisions at NFL speed...very hard to determine that.1. Jamarcus Russell
Every thread doesn't need to be an analysis. This is excellent analysis, gentleman. Thanks.![]()
What do you expect from a bunch of dudes on a message board? If anyone here knew what they were talking about, they'd be in a Front Office somewhere. This is excellent analysis, gentleman.

I agree. I just think that people are more in love with his measurables than what he's actually capable of doing on the field. Too many people have been burned drafting by measurables instead of game tape.I see him as an all or nothing guy...like most QBs, it's going to depend on his ability to make decisions at NFL speed...very hard to determine that.1. I guess I'd just like to know why you picked the players you did. Your list is your opinion. Opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one and most of them stink. You'd provide a lot more value by giving a few reasons why you feel the way you do.Every thread doesn't need to be an analysis. This is excellent analysis, gentleman. This guy has been dropping like a prom dress in a lot of mocks.1. Alan Branch

Gaines Adams - Too risky for a top-five pick; one dimensional pass-rusher that might not hold up against the run in the NFL. Could see him getting rag-dolled by massive OTs.
Adam Carriker - An excellent comparison is Aaron Smith. Don't see him getting to the QB much and not large enough to play DT. Could be an outstanding 3-4 DE; not worhty of a top-10 pick.
Dwayne Bowe - Not extremely fast and didn't put up huge numbers in college. Some liken him to Anquan Boldin because they both have excellent size and are physical receiver. Can he catch like Boldin? Not that he won't be a good pro, but very risky for a mid first rounder.

The way his stock has dropped, I think he may wind up underrated. The guy isn't Mike Williams.1. Leon Hall
2. Levi Brown
3. Dwayne Jarrett (is he rated anymore?)
I can agree with that. The way his stock has dropped, I think he may wind up underrated. The guy isn't Mike Williams.1. Leon Hall

If I had to guess, he'll be a poor man's Keyshawn. He has good hands and seems to run good routes. I don't think he'll be a good #1 WR, but would be fine as a #2 and would do quite well as a teams #3.The way his stock has dropped, I think he may wind up underrated. The guy isn't Mike Williams.1. I keep seeing the TW comparisons and think they are unfair. The guy can catch for starters, also I think people are not giving him enough value as a return man. I will agree that he may not be polished, of course he hasn't been playing WR that long and he is only going to get better. I think he will be a special player in the NFL.3. Tedd Ginn - too one dimensional to make a great impact at the WR position. See Troy Williamson - alot of speed, d, but not a polished WR by any means. Has trouble with any routes but fly routes. Will be easy to jam at the line.

He's not particularly good at anything. An NFL caliber RB would have done a lot more in his collegiate situation.1. Brady Quinn2. Antonio Pittman3. Sydney Ricejust wondering LHUCKS, why Pittman?too small?

a lot of people thought the same thing about Vince Young last year (me included) and his success will probably help keep Russell's value high.I agree. the people listing Lynch, I'd like to hear why on him, if there is any reasons
1. Marshawn Lynch - doesn't have "it". Seems to lack the little things that separate the great ones from the backups. Decent vision, but slow reaction time. Doesn't explode out of his cuts, and will get taken down behind the line alot.
about a second-fourth rounder, he should be an undrafted free agentLHUCKS said:where is he projected to go these days?NorrisB said:2. Troy Smith
Maybe as a KR, but that doesn't make him worthy of a high first round pick.PizzaDeliveryGuy said:I keep seeing the TW comparisons and think they are unfair. Except VT's college game tape was much more impressive than JMskellumsboys said:a lot of people thought the same thing about Vince Young last year (me included) and his success will probably help keep Russell's value high.Warpig said:I agree.
