It was recorded in 75, and released only to radio stations, until 85 when it was released as the "b" side to "My Hometown"The first known public playing was in 1973 at "The Bristol Motor Inn" in Bristol RI.

I was reading some of the comments under the youtube video, and someone wrote "God bless him for having the dignity to respect Christmas by not putting on a pink training bra and humping the carpet in front of the children."
