The best FF corner prospects are not necessarily the high profile corners. Corners drafted by teams using a base C-2 / T2 scheme, obviously will draw a lot of attention in the IDP world. Excluding Leon Hall, (who could probable play in any scheme), Who do ya’ll think are some of the top C-2 / T2 prospects ? …

Anyone think Eric Weddle (Utah) will be drafted to be a C-2 corner?

What ya’ll think about these guys?

Tanard Jackson (Syracuse)

DeAndre Jackson/ (Iowa State)

I'm fairly certain all these players are at the combine.

I'm not a pre-draft aficionado like Bloom, CC, and others -- hopefully they'll chime in here soon -- so I won't have any bright ideas here until a couple of weeks before the draft as I rely on our guys and a couple select scouting services as my information base.

I may be wrong but I think that both Weddle and Tanard Jackson are being looked at as safeties by most teams from my limited reading.

Hey JeanI know Weddle is, but beleive he played some corner in college. I was just wandering if he could translate to C2 corner at next level.

From what I've seen of Eric Weddle during his college days (plus the Senior Bowl week) I would say he is an overachiever that'll get by playing FS.

In my eyes he appears a bit limited as athlete (a 4.5 40 at the very best?) to play corner (even in a cover-2) with much success.
