Tory Holt - back spasms? (1 Viewer)

So Torry Holt was out with back spasms in pre-season games. How serious is this? DId he have this issue last year?

What's the prognosis?

Back spasms could be from trying to get into shape...or...evidence of a larger problem.

I would worry a bit, Holt is tough so he'll likely play through injury if he can.

In and of themselves, back spasms are a muscular problem that can occur without a larger problem. Unless you have more information about an underlying condition, they're nothing to worry about.

Back spasms can occur for any reason, such as being dehydrated or just plain got out of bed the wrong way in the morning.

To my knowledge he has not had these issues in the past.

It's nothing to just wave to the side, as Colston had back spasms last year for the first half of the season (or a back problem if I'm wrong). He underperformed the first half and then exploded. If they continue to hold him back you might want to downgrade him a couple spots, but overall I think he should be okay. If the spasms are not injury related he will be fine for the next game.
