Keeper league - keep 5.

I have 4 "lock" keepers

Holiday

Kinsler

Tulowitzki

Crawford

My possibilities for my 5th keeper:

Chone Figgins

Lance Berkman

Hunter Pence

Michael Cuddyer

Been offered Jimmy Rollins and my choice of Andre Either or Granderson for Tulo.

Stay put because Tulo is one of the best young SS in the game and keep one of the guys I have or give up Tulo for a SS who will last another couple of years and a young, strong OF?

H2H - Scoring is Total bases based. (4 pts/ HR. 3 pts./triple, etc. 1pt./ run scored, 1 pt./RBI. 1/SB, etc.)

Thanks for your advice!

Is it just me or does that scoring system heavily favor power hitters? What about BA? If that doesn't matter I'd think guys like Adam Dunn and Carlos Pena are gold.I don't like trading away Tulo in that league.....not for what you'd get in return.

True because a HR essentially counts as 6 points right off the bat. (4 for HR and an RBI and run scored). (Crawford was awesome last year simply because of extra base hits and stolen bases which added up - he was pretty consistent last year.)Dunn has been locked up for years. Pena came out of nowhere last year and will be kept. Papi and Berkman got me the division championship two years ago. It is hard to part with Tulo, but having Eithier is tempting. An OF of Crawford, Holliday, and Eithier would be something. Plus we can use any position player as a DH so I could even take one more OF in the draft. I don't know...

I guess you have to decide if you like HollidayEthierKinslerCrawfordRollinsover HollidayKinslerTuloCrawfordBerkmanPersonally, I think Ethier and Berkman will put up very similar stats in 2010. And in your scoring system I believe Tulo crushes Rollins. So I'd choose the latter over the former in this case.

Taking out the like terms it breaks down to Either/Rollins over Berkman/Tulo. Give me the young, power hitting SS and the veteran who can hit for average.
