Trade for Rodgers? (1 Viewer)

So the Rodgers owner will be 2-4 after this week and is looking to drop him (it’s a keeper league, 1st can’t be kept). He is asking if I’m interested. Now I’m sitting at 6-0 after tonight’s game. I currently have Brady as my QB. If Arod is back in time for our playoffs he is great insurance. 

They are wanting me to start the bidding . Would you bother? And what at most would you be willing to give? 

If he drops him I’m not sure who will be thinking oh I should grab him in case. But there may be that 1 or two that are in playoff contention.

any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

With Brady already on your roster I wouldn't spend very much at all, unless: 
A.  You want to block other people from getting Rodgers
B.  He even comes back this year
C.  You have a deep enough bench to hold him
D.  He's cheap

Gotta be an all of the above or nothing situation I'd think.  No sense in spending anything significant for a QB that you're not going to use/might not play, and if he does return for the playoffs then good luck trying to pick between Brady and Rodgers each week

I wouldn't put too much thought into it.  I might throw out some FAAB but I wouldn't go over board.  I am reading that surgery is required so the likelihood of him coming back is slim to none.

They are asking for Derrick Henry from me. They give ARod and Cobb.

Might be a bit steep for a maybe returning player that I’m only looking at as insurance, and a WR whose value drops substantially.

There is no way I make that deal.  I would much rather have Henry down the stretch in your situation.  Easy decline.

I would offer Kelly or Rawls or Collins as they will never see your lineup- nothing more.

They ended up dropping him, so immay put it a small bid and see what happens
