Trade: Gordon for Gurley? (1 Viewer)

Just got offered Gurley for Gordon - PPR league 8 team

I feel like I'm crazy for not taking it...but am I missing something, is Gurley someone to stay away from? (schedule, QB, etc.)

Current RBs: Bell, Hyde, Gordon, DFreeman, Crowell, Murray

I would accept in a heart beat.  Gordon has been very TD dependent this year (he is making up for not scoring any last year...hahah) but otherwise has been very average.  If the TD's go away he will not be very productive.  Gordon is also starting to fumble a lot and it appears to be in his head.  This could lead to less touches which would also torpedo his season.

Make the deal right away.  Gurley will continue to get volume and have the potential for big games.  The Rams will always keep games close with their defense so they won't ever abandon the run.  I have much more faith in Gurley having a consistent output for the rest of the year.

Thanks Gally, appreciate the input. I don't get to watch either player so it's nice having people chime in. Gurley was a player I was targeting because of his slower start, but never thought I might be able to get him for Gordon!

Yes take it, Gordon isn't going to always score TDs and he hasnt really done tha much as far as yardage. Basically it would surprise anyone when Gordon's production drops and gurleys increases, really good sell high of Gordon here

Gordon gets Denver 2 out of the next 3 weeks, but after that his schedule eases up a bit.  Lots of experts are screaming to sell high on Gordon.  I certainly don't expect him to be top 5 ROS, but top 15 (once Denver is out of the way) is not unreasonable.  Gurley should also be top 15, with probably more chance to pull into the top 10 than Gordon does, so yes, I think I would take that deal.
