TRADE OFFER : Rest of season Kittle or Ertz? I'm willing to send K Hunt in exchange for either TE (Chubb is my RB1) .5 PPR (1 Viewer)

2 RB starts and 1 flex : My RB starts are Chubb and Conner : my RB bench is Elliot and Montgomery, plus Hunt. I already have decent startable depth

My TE was Knox but I had to drop this week for Dissly due to being inactive tomorrow. Either TE is a long term upgrade for my team.

This is an 11 team league and we play 2 opponents per week.

If you have your mind made up about this deal, except for the TE you want to acquire, then I personally would go after Ertz.

Both Ertz and Kittle are good TEs, but in my opinion, Kittle appears to struggle with injures frequently, and Kittle is also a good blocker, so his main job in some games is to block more than catch passes, that is why I would target Ertz before Kittle for the TE to acquire.

I would attempt to deal Elliot or Montgomery first (maybe also package in a WR of your choice if needed), but if getting a good TE requires that you give up Hunt, I would probably do it. Hunt could be valuable, if Chubb got hurt. Montgomery has Herbert possibly stealing carries plus Chicago offense tends to struggle, so I would initially offer Elliot or Montgomery before Hunt, but you know your league better than I do. With only 11 teams and your small benches, could there be a decent WR available on waivers?

Thanks for your words of wisdom. I had originally offered both Elliot AND Thomas for Ertz and that was rejected. He rejected and countered by asking for Hunt, who I would likely only start if I had a Chubb injury. I would start either Kittle or Ertz every single week. He then sent an official offer of Hunt for Kittle which I accepted. My team is better at this moment as a result but I am without my RB1 insurance.....

I hope it works for you.
