Trade Offer (1 Viewer)

I have been offered Evan Longoria for Ryan Howard. I already am strong at 3B, but I can play Bautista in OF. The league has a Utility/DH position where I can play him too. I already have options on my roster to fill 1B. Howard has been a K king, but he usually warms up during the summer. Longoria was injured early on, but he's a great offensive 3B. Do you think it's a good trade for me?

What are the options at 1B?

I'm thinking that you take this deal regardless just because of how weak 3B is. To have pieces like Longo / Bautista to move later in the year, if needed, is a real +

:goodposting:Limp Ditka knows best.

My options at 1B would be Lance Berkman and Howie Kendrick or pick up Gaby Sanchez from the waiver wire.

We got a couple threads for these kinds of questions. Keeper or Redraft - Roto - H2H? That makes all the difference. Longoria hasn't quite panned out to what I was expecting. I was thinking MVP numbers by now....we're not seeing that. I expected him to be over.300 over 30HR and over 100 RBIs and 15-20 bags. If this is what he is, this is what he is, but he has not lived up to the hype. He's still young but he's also a veteran at this point.

Redraft roto I take Longo

Redraft H2H I keep Howard

Keeper Roto I take Longo

Keeper H2H I take Longo because Howard should start to break down in 2013 a bit and by 14 he'll be a DH in the AL
