Targeted CJ2k for the last three weeks. Owner finally accepted:CJ2k/Steve Johnson for M.Lynch and Bowe

Was offered Nicks/Best for DJax/Beanie and turned it down. I inquired about Nicks because I wanted to pair him with DJax and this was his initial offer, which I turned down because Beanie is just starting to come along and I'm not a big Best fan (non ppr league). Not sure I made the right decision anymore.

I would have done it. Djax is very streaky, Nicks give more consistent production each week and I think Best is better than Wells by a considerable margin.

Greene.Non-ppr so Marshall is even to MWTB in my eyes with his new QB in Moore, and I already have Stafford, but Rivers is not gonna suck all year, right?

What are you waiting for? I couldn't hit accept fast enough if I were you. Starks is like the 12th option for the Packers, Turner is on his figurative and Colston on his literal last leg, MWTB is probably not as good as he showed last year, and Green is.

I got him to throw in Pitt D for Cincy D.So complete deal was that I recieved L. McCoy, B. Marshall, P. Rivers, J. Starks and Pitt D...in return I gave M. Turner, M. Colston, S. Greene, M. Williams TB, and Cincy D.Thanks for the help and opinion, hope it works out for me.

The weather didn't bother Johnson last year and since when is Donald Jones a factor in the overall performance of other receivers? This isn't a Miles Austin / Dez Bryant situation. Donald Jones is barely relevant. Hell, David Nelson probably is as good as Donald Jones.

As far as RB's go, I've been targeting:

Peyton Hillis - Contract situation, rumored trade demand, semi-emergence of Mario Hardesty, and strep throat incident may have scared some owners off. I wasn't overally high on him pre-draft but his value right now is probably at an all-time low for this year.

Felix Jones - Though probably not going to live up to pre-draft expectations, should be healthy now and remain the best running option on a high powered offense.

Chris Johnson - no-brainer in my opinion, but if his owner isn't selling during this bye week, it probably isn't going to happen without giving up more than you want.

Steven Jackson - I think most owners are down on the Rams across the board and the time to strike was probably last week during the bye. However, with the Packers most likely forcing them to play from behind and therefore limiting his carries this week, his buy-low window probably extends one more week.

start 2 RB, 3 WR & 2 Flex

I had a Week 8 bye issue (Blount & Forte both out).

Move Blount for J Stew even after the injury but before the details were released.

I have offering the following players in Trade Bait - Forte, J Stew, Maclin, D Nelson & S Moss

Chris Johnson - the owner RB corp of CJ, Turner, Best, Jacobs but needed WR2 upgrade

Rashard Mendenhall - buy low target, injury and owner is hurting at RB

James Starks - I see him as the primary RB the 2nd half of the season & soft schedule

I ended up trading Forte & Maclin for CJ & M Turner

I am happy with the deal.

This was a win-win for both of us.

The Starks owner thinks I know something he does not know and is holding him just because I want him.

Mendy owner wanted Forte for him.... not happening.

He still sees Mendy as Top 10 value but not his Top 50 reality.

Getting two top 20 backs for a top 5 receiver and a top 30 receiver seems pretty fair to me.

I don't ever like giving up the best player in a trade, and this year could be special for Smitty and he could put up more points than S Jax/D Thomas combined. That's exactly what he's doing in my league 5 weeks in.I have little to 0 faith in S Jax anymore. Daniel Thomas....meh.

I didn't say I would have done it, I just said it was fair. At least it wasn't one-sided enough to :X it.
