Trading RB for TE (1 Viewer)

Hello FFG! Trade question here: 

Here’s the scoop.  16 team league, full ppr.

  Jordab Reed is my TE, and only TE.   He’s injury prone and questionable week 1.  I’m debating offering a trade for a solid backup TE.  A guy in my league has Trey Burton as his backup to Kelce.  Basically I have a whole stables of RBs that includes:

J. Conner         Miles Sanders

D. Montgomery    Dion Lewis 

Adrian Peterson    A. Mattison 

CJ Anderson

Is Dion Lewis or Adrian Peterson for Burton giving too much? Not enough?  I like Lewis for Burton. What do you guys think?

I'd be happier with Burton as my starting tight end over Reed even if Reed was healthy.

The guy doesn't have Cook does he?  If so you might be able to get away with offering Mattison.  See if he counters.  I'd probably do Lewis before I'd do Peterson but the fact is Peterson, Anderson, Sanders, and Lewis are all so close that you can probably get away with giving one away for a position of need.

Based on what you have I would have no issue trading either of those RB's for a TE.  I might see if I can get someone with a little more stable than Burton (coming off injury and fairly inconsistent).   But I wouldn't have any issue pulling the trigger.

I wouldn't trade Mattison.  If Cook gets hurt again Mattison should be better than either AP or Lewis.  I would rather keep that upside.

How bad are the RB for the guy that has Burton? A fair amount of people like Burton.  I'm assuming this is dynasty and I wouldn't even think about trading for AP. Honestly, Lewis doesn't do much for me either so I wouldn't be surprised if you got a quick no for both of those RB. Maybe the Henry owner might give you a TE for Lewis? You may have a lot of RB but a lot of them don't hold much value.

It’s a standard ppr 16 team league. 

He lost Lamar Miller and gonna strike while the iron’s hot.  I could also offer a few different teams Lewis for Austin Hooper or H. Henry.

Throw them out there but I think you are over valuing your RB.

There is no way anybody would take either of those RB's for Hunter Henry.......and most likely nobody would for Austin Hooper either.  That is a way overvalue of your RB's.
