Travis Henry - Week 13 (1 Viewer)

Nov 27 Henry (knee) said that he "definitely" expects to play on Sunday against Oakland if his suspension hasn't been decided on, the Denver Post reports.

Henry is still waiting to hear from the NFL regarding his suspension, which he appealed on Nov. 16, and if he doesn't hear anything by Tuesday he should still be on the Broncos' active roster. His knee injury is another story, but he seems optimistic about his chances to play this Sunday. They said it would be about a four-week injury and we're on week four," said Henry. "I've got to get back on the field. I will definitely be ready this week." This would be good news for Denver who has already lost Selvin Young and Andre Hall to injuries, but despite these strong words from Henry we recommend erring on the cautious side with him this week and check back later in the week for more information.

I don't think it was implying "for the year", but merely pointing out that Young was hurt and couldn't play week 12, and now Hall is hurt and looks to be out for week 13.Let's keep this about Henry though....

Travis Henry didn't get word from the league regarding his suspension on Tuesday.

That Henry hasn't been suspended by the league at this point in the week means he will likely be available, if healthy, for Sunday's match-up against the Raiders and their terrible run defense. Henry said on Monday he expected to be ready, but his status will become more clear after Wednesday's practice.

Per Rotoworld

Selvin Young (knee) and Travis Henry (knee) both practiced for the Broncos on Wednesday. Andre Hall (ankle) was on the sidelines.

Coach Mike Shanahan is "hopeful" about Young and Henry, but Hall seems the least likely to play at Oakland. Considering the matchup, both Henry and Young would be decent flex plays if active. It's uncertain how Shanahan would choose to divide carries, but he'd probably ride the hot hand as usual.

Travis Henry (knee) worked with the Broncos first-team during portions of Wednesday's practice.

In terms of his health, Henry has said he "definitely" expects to play this week, but between his knee woes and the looming news about his appeal of a potential one-year suspension, that remains to be seen. He has a great matchup against the Raiders, but have other fantasy options ready to go.

Broncos running back Travis Henry is excited about the thought of a 20-carry game Week 13 against the Raiders. He's just hoping his knee shares his enthusiasm. "I feel good enough to play," said Henry, who partially tore the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. "If they need me to (carry it 20 times), I'll man up and do it. My knee feels real good." Henry and rookie Selvin Young (knee strain) both practiced Thursday and Broncos coach Mike Shanahan is optimistic they'll play Sunday at Oakland. Andre Hall, though, remains a question mark. Hall sustained a high ankle sprain last weekend against Chicago on his first carry, but he persevered through the pain to finish with 98 yards on 26 carries.
