I watched the entirevideo. There are very few throws (~25) that are not to the RBs (~16) and TEs (~30), which are mostly simple sits and curls. Some of the throws to WRs "over the middle" are sits/curls, or very short drag routes underneath. None of these should ever even have an opportunity to be hospital balls.
The few times TL throws down the field over the middle, it is pretty bad. TL had a few decent throws out of about 17 total to WR. A couple of those were deep shots where the receiver is running beyond or even with the deepest defender. A couple where the receiver is stopped. That leaves about 13 throws. I see multiple throws where the player did immediately get hit hard. Several high throws where the receiver had to reach for it with a defender bearing down on them. Besides throwing very few passes over the deep middle, the saving grace for TL was that many of the throws were so far off, they would have gotten the player lit up, but the defender was able to pull up just in time. Other times a defender intercepted the errant pass.
Questionable throws at 3:30, 4:20, 7:40, 8:50, 9:30, 11:30, 15:15, 15:55, 19:30, 21:55.
On the bright side, perhaps he has improved his accuracy this year. What were once bad overthrows and interceptions are now hospital balls.
