Trivia: Jeff Garcia soon to become (1 Viewer)

Not sure this is what you are looking for but he has led three teams to the playoffs a year after they had losing records (or 4th or worse in their division). Probably not it though.

Have banged a playboy playmate after being called gay?
Chase, you're going to have to really bring it to trump this answer. Though flranger should really have made it say "playboy playmate OF THE YEAR".
Absofreakinglutely. flranger may not have given the official answer, but he gave THE answer! I'll go with... the first UNDRAFTED QB to have banged, er, started for 3 different teams in the playoffs.

This has nothing to do with Jeff Garcia's background/draft status. Any QB, upon the end of their first playoff game, would have a chance to one day match this feat.

Does Garcia have to finish this playoff game to achieve this feat? And is background just personal or does it include past teams?

They are playing a sucky Carolina team next week. The trivia question has to do with some sort of playoff thingy.

You sir are one annoying individual, torturing us with "hints" like this. Go away, you. Shoo! Shoo!

play against Eagles one year, play for Eagles the next, play against the Bucs, play for the Bucs....like that?

Every calendar I've ever seen starts it's weeks on Sunday, therefor next week his team plays Carolina. He has won against the Giants 2 times in the Wildcard round and will play them again. But I'm not sure what that has to do with the answer, unless you worded it wrong. ??? anyone else?

The Bucs play the Panthers this weekend. Next weekend, the Bucs play the Giants. But yes, Garcia will become the first QB to ever start a playoff game against an opponent while a member of three separate teams. He's also 2-0 for his career against the Giants in playoff games, and 0-3 against non-Giants teams.

face the same team (the NY Giants) 3 times in the Wild Card round?
But he said in post #17 "Any QB, upon the end of their first playoff game, would have a chance to one day match this feat" so I'm thinking it has nothing to do with three times in the playoffs at all.

David Garrard, e.g., will have a chance to match this feat one day as well. The fact that Garcia was undrafted, or started his career in Canada, is has a Playboy wife, is irrelevant.

Gotcha. I was missing the "one day" part, thinking instead it could be matched after the first playoff game.I enjoy your trivia Chase. You know I was just messing with ya. *feeling feisty tonight*

First QB to ever to start a playoff game for three NFL teams after starting their career in Canada.
This is correct also as I believe is the undrafted QB answer. Next question: Think of a number between 1 and 40. GO.
Is this a trick question? I choose pi.
It is a whole number.
This is the shark pool, so if you don't want this thread closed down it had better be a football-related whole number between 1 and 40.I choose Jeff Garthia's number: 7. Or 5, which was his number in SF, CLE, and DET. Or 12, which is the sum of those numbers. Or... 22, which is the sum of his numbers in all those places.I win! I win! I win!

It's in any round, actually. It sure seems like every time Garcia is in the playoffs he's playing the Giants. That's what made me look this up.
Although I'm glad I got the right answer, this isn't correct.Aikman faced the Packers and 49ers 3x each.

Favre faced the 49ers five times and Dallas 3x in the post-season.

Peyton has faced the Pats 3x.

Montana faced the Giants 5x and the Vikes 3x.

I'm sure there are others....

This is never irrelevant.

Next question: Think of a number between 1 and 40.
1. The only number between 1 and 40 that cannot be a team's score.-=kwantam
This guy is thinking. Winnah!
EH! Nope, sorry. 1 is not between 1 and 40. 1 is 1, it is not between 1 and anything. You are FIRED as trivia master.Oh look, the Broncos just got a FG. This game is so dull. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... *sigh*
Well I did about as well as Chase.
