It has plenty of meaning when you combine it with how the Big 10 has been exposed in the last five years. LSU/UF/USC are going to further show how bad he Big 10 really is very soon.

Let's see . . . The Big Ten was 8-5 against the SEC over the last 5 years in Bowl games. Do you guys ever go to class?

We go to class considering UF is a better academic school.

From Ohio, watched all of Troy Smith games he will NOT be a starter in the NFL. He's short, he's overrated as a running quarterback, he throws an ugly ball, he's stupid, and he was exposed against Florida... The offensive line wasn't the problem he was it was like glue was stuck to his hand and the ball... The only reason florida got pressure on him was he left the pocket... You would watch him suck it up and be like "What are you kidding me? Stay in the ### ####ed pocket you dumb piece of ####!!!" it's called stepping up in the pocket not running out of the pocket so the fast defensive ends can sack you or force you into bad decisions. It was so bad I actually wanted ZWICK in there.

He sucks PERIOD.

Good point. I was getting distracted by his Heisman Trophy winning production over the 5 months prior to the Florida game. Thanks for reeling me back in.

I really do not know if he'll become a good NFL QB or not, but for anyone to judge him without giving him an opportunity to fail or succeed is simply not a fan of NFL players. Or maybe they're an OSU hater. Lord knows we've seen a few of them on this board. I do know that Trot has proven people wrong his entire life when it comes to playing football. He truely is ne of the good guys. I hope he gets an opportunity to prove people wrong again.

I hope you are not trying to say Troy Smith is "good guy." He has a reputation for being a grade A jerk. He played the card repeatedly at OSU, took money from a booster, and there is that nasty rumor about what happened the eve of the championship game. NFL scouts know this stuff. It was not his talent that made him slide so far in the draft.
