You guys just can not accept that people see the world differently than yourselves. If they do, they must all idiots.Soooo...
The Trump voters here were under the illusion that he's just some regular Republican?

Yup. Obama and ACA prove that pointHe is certainly different. But people fail to realize that electing someone "different" can turn out really really badly. People who think he might be different seem to only look at the upside of the risk of their vote and fail to consider the large downside in their decision to gamble our country's future away with their vote.
Lol. No not really. Maybe Trump will be great but his downside is a helluva lot worse than the ACA. Nuclear war is his actual downside.Yup. Obama and ACA prove that point
Well I'd say about 80% of R votes come from the same "always R" voters and 80% of D votes come from the same "always D" voters, so it really isn't surprising.Soooo...

You didn't answer the question. You guys just can not accept that people see the world differently than yourselves. If they do, they must all idiots.

Basically, yes. But you forgot renegotiate trade deals. And make sure coal miners have jobs. So, I think his platform contained:
A: Build the Wall, which has been proven to be a financial impossibility
2: Lock Her Up, which he has already reneged on because it was just something he said to get elected
2: End Political Corruption, which he admits he no longer cares about because he won.
D: Drain the Swamp, which he admits he never really even wanted to say, but when people liked it he "started to say it like he actually meant it."
8: Repeal PPACA, except for the good parts, all of which are the things that cost money, with no concept on how to get them paid for.
If I'm reading the tea leaves here, he has accomplished everything he wanted to do. Win the election. Nothing else has really mattered, and he has already considered his presidency a success.
Those are indeed two more promises that he won't keep. Because he doesn't need to now. I think the people who voted for him are generally ok with none of the things jb listed actually happening. Which, I admit, I don't really understand.Basically, yes. But you forgot renegotiate trade deals. And make sure coal miners have jobs.
Thank you Newt for confirming that. I wasn't sure.Drop "Drain The Swamp" from the list.

update? Not saying i voted trump but here are 3:
1. Drain the swamp law: government officials must wait 5 years after leaving office becore becoming a lobbyist.
2. Major reform to drug costs. Bring generic drugs to market sooner.
3. Major cuts to regulations to jump start new business growth in the midwest.
My dad voted trump and said the reason was trump promised to lower the costs of medicine.
Looks like this was pretty accurate. So, I think his platform contained:
