I am looking at gifting this to my brother. Has anyone ever done this or any other monthly or bi-monthly subscription type services?

Someone gave me a wine of the month gift years ago, but I don't really remember much about it.

Any thoughts or recommendations of things that you like or want from this type of service? How does the pricing compare to other ones you have seen?

I am thinking about this also. I might try it and see if I like it and if it is good, I will gift it later.
