Or is this 3d tier? Having a (pick fav cuss word) of a time w/this. Quick thoughts? My .02 right now in our auction draft PPR:

Maroney - don't trust his health (or consistency), too unproven and a bit pricey probably

MJD - might cost a bit much but love the potential

EJ - like him as a value play due to PPR

Benson - don't for same reasons - solid in a non-PPR tho

Henry - loved him more before we went PPR but still looks good

T Jones - was lukewarm, moving up

You are kinda off in your tiers here. Henry is a first round pick. Maroney is early second. But other than that tryBensonEdgeJonesMJD

Jones-Drew is clearly at the top of the list IMO. After that Henry's next. I don't love the remaining backs but if I had to rank them it'd probably go like this:

Laurence Maroney (best supporting cast which is always important but unproven.)

Thomas Jones (Jets went out and got this guy so they'll give him a lot of work.)

Edge (Bad offensive line but there's always hope in Arizona for some reason.)

Cedric Benson (Not impressed. If he's a top-15 back in 2007 I'll be surprised)

 I did mention all those guys.Youre Henry/Maroney opinions are just that. I would not draft Henry 1st round, esp in a PPR.

hi free, different opinions is what makes the game fun. but, just because an adp is 12 doesn't mean everyone needs to agree there is value there. if you equate adp to where someone should be taken, you're just saying the majority is always right. and, it is a lot more fun, to zig when others zag, and smile silently when someone takes a player at what you consider to be too early..knowing that means someone else may fall to you at far better value. if you like henry at 12, that is cool. but don't like him there just because that's what his current adp is.

This is a much more thought out, and flame free version of what I was thinking.Kudos MA. :goodposting:

Thank you. I understand what adp is, it was just the other guy acting like I set the world on fire saying Henry is a first round pick.

in non-ppr Benson sinks on my list and EJ and Jones are definitely up a notch more than usual. Kinda hard to gauge w/this PPR stuff.

Wow!and I was wondering how Benson even got mentioned in this thread. Must be one of those "standard" scoring systems where a guy gets points for having his jersey on right-side-out.

It's an older thread. Benson was a late riser in preseason.
