Tulo! (1 Viewer)

Marcus Semien is also an interesting case. Going off boards around 275 which would put him right around Simmons. You're getting position eligibility at 3 positions and could net you 25-30 combined HR/SB.

I also think there's a decent chance he finds his way into the top of the lineup. Crisp is an injury waiting to happen and Sam Fuld doesn't scream 2 hitter
:coffee:

Is this really how baseball works nowadays? Players/agents float rumors to the press that they're planning to hold meetings to discuss possibly asking to be traded? That's some bull####, there.

The Rockies have probably been trying to trade him for months.

i love the sign long term contract for every last dime then ask for trade so you can have your money and a chance to win.

rockies are gonna have to pay some of his money to move him, if they think otherwise...............................

and please don't start tulo to the mets crapola. the mets have zero money to pay this guy.

It made the most sense for everyone for trade talks to be tabled until now. Make Tulo prove he is healthy post hip surgery then engage talks. Other teams want to know he's healthy before investing and the Rockies would have had to take $0.50 on the dollar to move him. Now, theoretically, they're more likely to get market value and other teams are seeing he is fine post hip opp.

If the wild card standings in both leagues continue to hover around .500 I think a lot of teams will get itchy fingers

yea he rules.
mother####in monster. was the perfect bench guy in a short bench league and has really paid off since reyes got injured.

Cubs get Strasburg.

Nats get Tulo.

Rockies get Desmond and Baez.

Throw some other prospects in there and stir it up.

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Nationals have "made it clear" to the Rockies that they'd want to be involved if Troy Tulowitzki trade talks ever got serious.

Heyman notes that, not surprisingly, the Nats "likely wouldn't want to part with top pitching prospect Lucas Giolito," but he lists A.J. Cole, Reynaldo Lopez, Erick Fedde and Joe Ross as prospects who could be on the table. Washington, of course, has Ian Desmond at shortstop this season, but it seems to be a foregone conclusion that he'll leave as a free agent next winter and Tulo would represent a long-term solution at the position. Tulo met with his agent, Paul Cohen, on Thursday and determined that he would not demand a trade from the Rockies at this time. However, there's still a good chance he gets dealt eventually.

41 straight games on base. Power numbers are surging. Average is about where we expected it to be. Tulo starting to look like a respectable first-round pick again.

This has been a poor year in general for fantasy SS with very little power/speed production at the position. The collapse of Hanley along with the decline of Reyes and Desmond makes the position thinner than usual. Tulowitzki owners have to be happy with any season with >500 PAs but I agree his production has been less than his best.

He'll be near the top of 2016 position rankings depending but behind Correa and Machado if he qualifies in your league.

hopefully that is you banging your head against your nuts because you have nobody to blame but yourself. his injury was all over the place.
