12 Team Standard Scoring (Non PPR)
I've been doing my best to fit in every bit of FBG content here for my lineup decisions in between studying for finals down here at LSU and looking forward to both the game and the audible live tonight. My question is about which WR's to start, for my purposes in a standard scoring, non PPR league, but feel free to expand the conversation to also PPR, for the purposes of adding to the discussion and also pushing that "On The Couch" mentality to the audible Live. As is general practice for savvy Fantasy Football players at this point, many owners not only have strong starting Lineups but also have loads of talent stashed on their benches, initially as depth, but that have blossomed into actual bon-fide starter quality. (A feather to throw into Waldman's cap as he mentions hoarding talent on his bench.) Anyways on to my question...
I can start 3 or 4 WR's given my flex spot and I am faced with picking between many players considered either WR1 or WR2 w/ upside for the upcoming week: AJ Green vs. Pittsburgh, Keenan Allen vs Denver, Riley Cooper vs Minnesota, Jordy Nelson with or without Rogers against the putrid Dallas defense, a resurgent Roddy White against a redskins team falling apart in every sense, both on and off the field, and finally Julian Edelmen primed for an uptick in targets as an integral part of the high octane Patriots Offense recently robbed of the transcendent Rob Gronkowski, myself one of the many fantasy owners feeling the blow.
Full Lineup:
QB: Drew Brees
RB1: Jamaal Charles
RB2: Gio Bernard
WR1:?
WR2:?
WR3:?
TE: Tamme (Gronkowski fill in)
Flex:?
Response or not, thanks for all the content and analysis helping to make this, my first year of fantasy football, both memorable and successful. Best of luck in all of your perspective match ups this week and keep up the excellent standard of content all subscribers here at Football Guys have been fortunate enough to profit from!
