Two Hours of Live Audible Tonight 3/18 10 pm Eastern (1 Viewer)

Dynasty question here, Starting in a new ppr dynasty league this year. Where all 12 teams are starting from scratch. My question is where would you look to draft some of this years rookies, how do you compare a Dez Bryant to say a Roddy White or CJ Spiller to a Reggie Bush as far a draft position. Any thoughts? :hifive:

In a 3-4 defense do you see the following three players fitting in best as an OLB or a DE? Which has the lowest floor and the highest ceiling? There seems to be a lot of negativity surrounding Hardy. Does he lack internal drive? Can he be coached up? I saw that he was very unproductive at the East-West Shrine game.

Clifton Geathers

Koa Misi

Greg Hardy

Thanks

Who do you rate higher in PPR this season, James Jones or Reggie Brown. I ask because their situations are so different. One is a WR3 on an awesome passing team while the other is presumably a WR1 on a weaker offense. Both have some skill and are young.

Happy Thursday Fellas!

1- talk to me about Derek Anderson in ARZ... I know he looked terrible at times recently, but how much of that was a function of Mangini's conservative offense and lack of personnel (hereafter known as "The Cleveland Effect"). Do you like the fit?

2- Denver actually signed a pretty good player on the defensive line (from SD)... AND he's relatively young! If this acquisition is a key cog in their scheme, how close do you think the Broncos are from being a top 10 NFL defense? What else do they need to consistently stop the run and put enough pressure on the passer to take advantage of the experience in their secondary?

3- If you were GM of Detroit, would you be tempted by Okung at LT? I think Suh is the best player in this draft, but having already invested in Stafford (and Calvin), wouldn't it be nice to cap the end of the line for Stafford's career? Not to mention you could move Pettigrew to that side and run all over the opposition...

4- love those E*Trade commercials with the babies!

steeler draft question: with haden no longer having any chance to drop to 18, and with the frequency with which teams use the nickel, do you think earl thomas could prove to be just as effective in those sets based on his overall skill set, as well as give them a troy clone in case of another injury?

still on pins and needles for the bloom 100.

kkkkkk-yeaaahah!

Charlie Whitehurst

Is he te future in SEA?

What is your take on his maturity, decision making, leadership, skills and above all is he the right fit for SEA offense.

Nothing better then listen in to some quality FF talk...

So when are you looking to have your rookies updated on the FBG web site. And would love to here about some of your sleeper rookie WRs. Who is this years Mike Wallace?

Which QBs will start in September and be forgotten by December. Leftwich comes to mind from last season as simply a placeholder until Freeman was ready to be thrown in.

Have you heard anything about the Detroit RB situation? K Smith will probably start season on PUP leaving Maurice Morris as the starter right now. Most of the free agents are gone and it doesn't look like the issue will be addressed through the draft with all the other holes they have.

As we have learned, quarterbacks are to Jon Gruden what women are to Tiger Woods. Do you think Jon-Jon needs an intervention with Charlie Casserly as the counselor and Chad Henne as the orderly, or are you eating Joe Bryant's BBQ and thinking whatever is in the sauce works?

What is Jahvid's Best upside in a non-PPR/no return yardage league?

If you were looking to trade the 1.06, what kind of RB would you expect to get? Again, in a non-PPR league.

Hey guys,

Happy St. Patrick's Day from your resident Irishman. I hope you both had an enjoyable (and alcohol filled Paddy's Day).

A quick dynasty question for you both. I just made a trade in my main dynasty league (non-IDP, PPR) in which I traded Steve Smith (CAR) for Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch with a few swapped draft picks in there too. What is your opinion on both Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch going forward? Do you see a Cedric Benson style renaissance in Lynch's value? After all, he is only 24 years old. As for Jackson, I know you're both high on him, and I am too. How do you see this backfield shaking out in 2010?

Love the show, keep up the good work.

Julian Edelman, Reggie Brown, and James Jones are all available in my dynasty league. They will be thrown in with the rookies and can be drafted when we have our rookie draft. Where do you slot guys like this?

Hey guys, love the show.

I'm looking for a one-year bye-week PPR dynasty WR for 2010. Who do you see having more upside.... Derrick Mason or Chris Chambers?

Hi Guys - I like to take a QB "later" in a 12-team non-ppr re-draft, maybe 5th or 6th round at the earliest. Now though, with the huge numbers the good QBs are putting up, I may have to rethink that philosophy. So two questions.

1. Is drafting a QB in the 5th or 6th round still reasonable, with probably 8 QBs already selected, or is that a recipe for disaster?

2. If a guy doesn't get one of the top six (say for discussion that's Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, Brady, Rivers, and Schaub), which two or three QBs do you think have the chance to make me look like “Carnac the Magnificent” this year? Thanks!

Talk a little Titans first round pick if you don't mind... Do we go again with athleticism and grab a Carlos Dunlap or another defensive end like Morgan...

Or, do we throw a curveball and just take Spiller and run the ball 40 times a game with Cj, Cj, and VY

In an non-ppr rookie draft, where do you take Dez Bryant?

My sense is he's definitely after the top two RBs (Spiller, Mattews). Do you take him before Gerhart, Best, Dwyer?

What if the league only allows you to keep rookie picks for 3 years? Does this fursther drop Bryant's value since it takes many rookie WRs more time to develop and contribute?

Cecil and Sig,

Thanks for the great show.

For someone that doesn't record games during the season, how do you recommend the FBG community to go about scouting players?

Youtube only shows highlights and I know Big Ten Network shows some college games from earlier in the season, but not enough for decent scouting.

Any suggestions?

Keep up the great work.

Before we can see who goes where, off the top of you head what is your guys top 5 ppr dynasty rookie rankings. Thanks

CB, think it's an easy call tooAdded DE, LB and S in free agency and curiously ignored a glaring need at CB.They could even draft CB then CB again and be OK.At some point, they'll need O-line depth but every team will draft O-line depth if they like some prospect so...
