Two Hours of Live Audible Tonight 6/17 10 pm Eastern (1 Viewer)

QBBC

For dynasty I prefer to pay for a younger top stud QB but in redraft the price is too high and I prefer to take a shot on 2 cheaper borderline high QB#2 types.

For auction redraft standard scoring start 1 QB what 2 QB's would you target on the cheap that may also have easy schedules that work well together?

I just want to thank you guys for having such a great informational show. I really wanted some more football talk during the week so I tried listening to some other shows on blogtalkradio. Sheesh. 20 minutes on comparing Steve Smith to Vincent Jackson, 15 minutes on the Jets on HBO, and a bunch of guys saying they don't know anything yet but should when camps open. I guess I need to put the audible on my mp3 and only listen to 20 minutes a day to make it last all week:). You guys by FAR have the best podcast on fantasy football on the web. You guys are experts, not just a group of goofs in a room repeating what we already know. Keep up the super work!

What are two or three players at each position that you guys are starting to change your viewpoint on, relative to when we first started our rankings and projections for this season?

What is the one widely held or consensus assumption you vehemently disagree with for 2010? It can be a particular player, team outlook, or fantasy strategy.

Thanks brothers, keep getting that scrilla!

This is THE podcast to listen to. Keep up the good work.

Vincent Jackson: What are the percentages you put on each of these possible outcomes:

1. Jackson ends hold-out and shows up before the start of the season.

2. SD relents and either offers long-term deal or original tender and Jackson shows up for start of the season.

3. Jackson holds out until week 10 and plays 6 games.

4. Jackson holds out and gets suspended, playing only 2-4 games (or 0 if SD benches him).

5. Other

In general, how much have you moved Jackson down in your redraft and dynasty rankings as a result of his current situation.

Good thursday gentlemen. My main league has three IDP slots (DB, DL/LB, and a util IDP spot). We pre draft the IDP players a month before the beef of our draft so that leaves me with some questions. Since we count return yardage I always attempt to grab a DB that returns kicks. This year it's not as clear cut as years past. Do I risk taking a chance on a DB that may not end up returning kicks or go for a less risk IDP linebacker? Maybe you can run down the DB's with the best chance of making an impact in the return game.

BTW, the scoring is standard IDP and I have pick 4.

Hello Fellas!

What kind of upside to you see for Chad Henne? Maybe it is just me, but he seems like a great buy low right now, with a rocket arm and a true stud at WR in Marshall (assuming Marshall isnt suspended).

I see him as a future top 10 QB, perhaps even this year.... Am I way off on my thoughts here?

(oh, could you please give me a Dr.Rockso?)

Hi guys,

Thanks for the great show as always. In a deep PPR dynasty, who are some of your favourite deep RB's, WR's and TE's that you have been trying to grab? Some of the guys that could be available on the waiver wire for a 16 team 25 man roster with IDP.

Thanks as always.

Hey guys,

Who do you think will win the qb job in buffalo?

Who do you think should win the qb job in buffalo?

Is Brian Brohm the most valuable dynasty qb in buffalo because he hasn't proven that he is not capable of being a starting nfl qb yet?

What up brothers in fantasy! I'm trying to trim the fat in my dynasty league to clear a couple spots for UDFA's and guys that come out of no where in training camp. I'm in a 16 team league with 50 man rosters; PPR & full IDP. I'd consider cutting the following players in this order: PJ Hill, David Clowney, Mario Haggan, Brian Brohm, Stephen Nicholas, Jamar Williams, Kawika Mitchell, Ryan Torain, Kenny McKinnley and Gartrell Johnson.

One point of note - my linebackers are the weakest group on my team so I was looking for a couple possible diamonds in the rough that could surprise. Do you think any of the guys listed above should be kept around over any others for a possible breakout, or do you think most of them are expendable?

Thanks guys!

How bad is Gates nagging foot injury? Are you dropping him in your rankings at all due to the fact that it doesn't seem to be going away? IF healthy and IF VJax keeps his promise that he is willing to hold out until week 11, he could be in for a monster season as the focal point of the passing game.

Love the show guys. Keep up the great work.

Quick question regarding Matthew Stafford. When does Stafford become startable in a 10 team dynasty league and where do you see him falling? Brees/Rodgers/Manning range? Schaub/Rivers range? Or Roflsburger/Eli/McNabb range? Thanks in advance.

The FBG consensus rankings (non-PPR) currently have Jeremy Maclin at WR30, at the bottom of a tier that has guys like Hakeem Nicks, Percy Harvin, Donald Driver, Kenny Britt, Robert Meachem, TJ Houshmandzadeh and Mike Wallace (as WR2 on their own team) above him currently. Maclin pretty quickly began to establish himself as a legitimate threat for Philadelphia by midseason and was on a 120 target pace over his last nine games. Am I way off base in thinking that he will push for WR1a status in Philladelphia this year, make a run at 130 targets and 75-80 catches and could well finish among the top 20 WRs this year?

If you like the Audible, and hunger for more fantasy and football talk, make sure you're checking out the Daily Fantasy Buzz. Cecil, Sig and I crank out a ton during the week - definitely fill in the blanks between Audibles (though I agree you can NEVER have too much Bloom and Lammey - they are the bomb diggity).

Another question for you fellas, time permitting...

Which combination would you rather have and why, the combo of Matt Schaub and Chad Ochocinco, or Eli Manning and Reggie Wayne? This is in a start 3 wr dynasty PPR league.

Thanks for your time!

Question for Sig and Cecil: Why aren't you guys watching Game 7?!?

Also: Who would you rather have in dynasty - Mike Wallace or Mike Sims-Walker? Am I correct in thinking both of these guys are going to have long Rod Smith/Derrick Mason-like careers?

Cecil, from one LSU Tiger to another, can you please get Bloom to stop bidding on my players!!!

All jokes aside, my question is about the fantasy impact of 2 Tigers in the NFL:

1) WR Craig Davis - Do you think there is any chance he will crack the starting line-up this season (even Josh Reed was brought in)? The guy is definitely talented (Although I never thought he was 1st rd talent) but his injuries are just non-stop...

2) Charles Scott - Any chance we see Scott passing Mike Bell in the Depth Chart in Philly?

Finally, are you surprised Ciron Black wasn't even given a chance to come in a try to make at least someone's practice squad?

Rod

long time listener, first time poster....lol

So where should players like Malcom Floyd, Jabar Gaffney, Charlie Whitehurst and Julian Edelman (assuming Welker is still a ?? come draft time) be getting drafted in the rookie/FA draft of a 12 team PPR IDP with standard scoring. Line up is QB RB RB WR/RB WR WR TE OP OP LB LB DL DL DB DB DP. Yes this means we can start 3 QB's and with 6 pts per touch down they are quite coverted. I see clausen and bradford going in the top 7 picks with tebow to follow into the early 2nd so i can see Whitehurst going late 2nd early third also. Thoughts?

Cheers - Mordikai

Aww man, I missed out on sending you guys in a question for the third straight week. I'm not forgetting about you, don't worry. I've just been really busy.

Anyways, you'll have the Irish charm back next week! :banned:

Good episode so far, just getting into it.

Just wanted to comment on a few things from the opening discussion about the FBG Mock on Wednesday night.

1) RE: Gaffney -- I'm obviously on board with Jabar as you guys are, which is why I took him in the 9th round. That said, I thought it important to mention that I took Gaffney AFTER other staffers took Demaryius Thomas and Eddie Royal. That baffled me

2) RE: McNabb -- As you noted Sigmund, waiting on a QB is a viable strategy, as it generally is any year (hence it being a cornerstone of Dodds' Perfect Draft article each year). But grabbing Brees in the 3rd was too good to pass up, and then McNabb as QB16? No brainer. He was the last QB I felt had a legitimate shot at week in, week out Top 10 per game production, and I (correctly) saw that plenty of folks would be gobbling up QBs over the next few rounds. I didn't want to have Brees, a cornerstone of my team, be backed up by someone I felt had little to no chance of being competitive in head to head each week.

3) RE: Matt Moore -- I'm 100% with Sigmund on this one. The Delhomme loyalty will always be a mystery, but it was also understandable if you remember how productive Delhomme was for Fox for years, and the SB appearance and performance. He DEFINITELY stuck with him too long, but I don't buy that Fox has this inherent issue against playing rookies. He played Gross right away, Otah right away, Jon Stewart right away even though D-Will is a beast. He got Beason in there. Peppers played right away. My point is Fox will play the guy he thinks is better. I still think Cec is right that Moore isn't quite getting the respect he deserves and that he'll get a good long run at the job. But if I'm betting, I still think Clausen sees PT later this year, by hook or by crook.
