Tyreek Hill for Devonta Freeman in PPR Redraft (1 Viewer)

Team besieged by injuries; having lost Brees, Tyreek Hill, Michael Gallup, Tevin Coleman and temporarily Damien Williams.

Plenty of depth at WR even with Hill and Gallup on shelf.

Is it a wise move to trade Hill for Freeman?

If it helps, here is my RB roster (with literally nothing of value on waiver wire at RB) -

Williams KC - questionable and didn't practice today

Lindsay Den

Freeman Den

Coleman SF (OUT last week likely OUT this week as well)

Malcolm Brown (picked up on waivers last week as last viable RB on waivers)

When I say no value on waivers I am not kidding, 12 teams and all teams are carrying 5 or more rbs with deep benches.

What do your WRs look like? On the surface, I would say 'no' as Freeman hasn't done anything of note and Hill's upside when he returns is far more than what you may get from Freeman in a pass-first offense. I certainly recognize though that your RB group is not looking grade. You could put Hill on the trading block and see what offers come in, but I wouldn't settle for Freeman. Especially when Ito Smith looked far better than him on Sunday Night Football.

You might shoot for the range of like Joe Mixon, Leonard Fournette, Kerryon Johnson at least.

I wouldn't do that.  Freeman looks essentially done and the O-line hasn't been good.  I think you could do better than Freeman for HIll.

And....I have 2nd waiver priority and am putting in for Demarcus Robinson or Mecole Hardman (dumping Sanu)

But I appreciate the comments so far, looks like I should take my lumps until Hill comes back and hope to find a RB darling on the waiver wire.

I would hang on to Hill and try and sell high on John Ross for a RB. Who knows what his target share and value will look like when AJ Green returns (when he returns? If he returns?).
