U.C.B's Future Studs Sig. (1 Viewer)

I have had my future studs sig up for awhile and some look to have been making strides to being just that.

-FUTURE STUDS

- Vernand Morency (im still holdin out this guy will be a STUD, has that underdog Gore feel about him to me..he has the talent for sure, needs the opportunity and the right coach behind him. He's getting more and more comfortable with GB now and who knows what the future hold with A.Green or if they draft another rb. Even if they do, this guy still has the talent to make it in the NFL. I believe in him and he was my favorite Texan...i still dont know why they would trade a talent like him...he was more talented OVERALL than DD...but most would disagree cause he didnt post the numbers but as someone who watched him with a hawk eye that guy has some serious serious talent. Not the fastest rb but his burst of the line is awesome...and sometimes with that alone you can break long ones...he has nice vision, killer moves and agility...can catch and block as well. I will be a man and say i was wrong if he's nothing more than a COP rb but i really dont see it.) I own him in all 5 of my dynasty leagues.

- Frank Gore (ok granted Otis started a thread abotu him being a stud...BUT if you ever was on FFTODAY way back then they did an article on this guy...whom everyone was down on at the time, he was slow and thought of as injury prone. So....I wasnt a believer at that time...i was like...what the hell they thinkin about. But last year i saw a few games at the end of the season from this beast of a rb...and i was like DAMN....looks like baby Earl Cambell out there...he wouldnt go down easy at all...he ran super hard/tuff and had decent burst getting to the whole and vision to boot. I was thinking man....if this guy can get the gig all to himself he will be a monster, and then i followed him in the offseason where he was working his ### off to impress the coaches and was working harder and staying late to practice...also mentioned that football was his life....so im like man a rb with those skills so determined gotta make it. Easy to say now that he's a STUD but that was my thinking on him.) Own him in 2 of my 5 dynasty leagues.

- Matt Jones (well...sometimes it takes alittle while to make it all click...I dont know whats with Matt, injuries/qb play/offense style, he has talent to dominate the NFL. He still needs to work on route running/catching the ball...i didnt think he would drop so many easy ones, but im still holding out hope that he will be a stud) Although i dont own him anymore in any of my leagues.

- Jay Cutler (Ok Cutler is getting just what he needs....PT, as he gets familar with the offense and Walker/SHeffler/B.Marshall this guy could be a real real good fantasy qb. Brees/like qb) I own him in 2 of my 5 dynastys.

- Vince Young (lol@ the haters....for 1 this my cousin and if you been in houston you know this fella is awesome...I dont know what it is about him though....he just has that winner qualities of M.Jordan or something. He couldnt and wouldnt be stop in high school, in a playoff game against a houston high school power Northshore in the playoff they was down like 30+, he brought them all the way back to win in the last moments... He just wins...maybe he's a god child....we see it all over again game after game...OSU/rose bowls and now we seeing it on the nfl level. I think he has Mcnabb like upside and maybe even better....Once he gets the cockyness about him that he can do it anytime he wants it over...he will dominate the nfl. Right now he's playing with trash wr's....but he really dont have to have a great wr but if they landed C.Johnson or Jarrett or even Ginn or Meachum in the draft just to give him a major target and when he gets to work with them in the offseason...watch out. Everyone WANTS to play for Vince...he's a natural leader and is just a good guy to hang with period. Im still amazed how he has the titan winning games...that team sucked donkey balls...) I own him in 2 of 5 leagues...I play with my best friend and he's from houston so aint NO chance for me to grab him...and the other guys that have him wont trade him for some reason...I will be offering Vick and either Mcnabb for him this offseason and if that dont do it...owell.

- Ben Watson (my favortie dynasty te....i can say im dissapointed in his season thus far, i thought he would have a way better year...seems Brady just does what he does best...spread the ball around. I still like for watson to be a stud one day though...) I own him in 4 of 5 dynasty leagues.

:lmao:

2 out of 6 were solid.

Please wait until you get 2/3 right before referring to yourself in the 3rd person.

1. Maybe

2. Obviously

3. Eventually

4. Sketchy

5. Certainly

6. Possibly
ColinWhy you say this on Cutler...Im looking for more insight on him but i think he has a nice chance to be a star...Sure he is maybe overwelemed right now but i think for him to get PT is very good for him...same thing i say about J.Cambell. Most qb's will take alil time before those get comfortable to go all out and play at a high level.

I dont know but i dont see any real draw backs on Cutler....reading defenses schemes? I dunno...that part can be help with game tape and experience.

:) Actually its too early to say if i was right are not...dynasty wise. Surely i wasnt saying all of them would have STUD status right now.
I like Cutler a lot, as Reg knows.I dealt Alex Smith to get him in our DFFL.I think this kid will be a Tom Brady type.He has all the tools, great field awareness, and has a nice offensive scheme to work himself into.He will have some nice targets to throw to in Denver.I laugh at the Cutler bashers so early in his career. The kid needs to get some NFL experience under his belt,he'll be a star in this league.

I have yet to see Cutler have much feel with the ball. Doesn't mean it won't happen, and I realize I'm being much too hard on him considering he has a very small sample to view, but I see a lot more "fire it in there" then I would like. That said, the passes to Schefler were a great start and I could be way off on this.Colin
