Diaz may want to learn some defense for that left hand. He got abused by that every time he tried to throw a right punch

Great fight, I had it 48-47 Connor. I was shocked how well Connor recovered and looked in the 4th, he was almost out on his feet against the cage at the end of the 3rd.

Same here on both the score and McGregor's recovery, I thought he'd fold again after the third but that was a big-time comeback.

Wow.  Just wow.  great PPV.  Don't understand how Connor gasses so fast, but showed great heart at the end.  Looked like a draw or Diaz split decision IMO.

I'm a huge Rumble fan and so glad that whole series went as it did from Glover calling him out with class to Rumble scolding the crowd into class. Hard to not love that guy.

Im glad I'm not a UFC LHW or I'd be terrified of ticking that guy off.
this was funny pre-fight with Johnson. Guy can intimidate that is for sure:

Excited for Garbrandt-Cruz. i think Dominic lights the kid up all day, but i didn't think Garbrandt would make it past Almeida either

ETA: and Dom's #### talking may be better then Mcgreggor or Diaz. he is just funny and smart, bad combo for guys like Faber and the whole alpha male team

Interesting fight.  4 of the 5 rounds were clear (1 and 4 to conor/3 and 5 to Diaz), round 2 was up in the air but Conor had more significant strikes and a knockdown.  Wouldn't have complained had Diaz got decision as fight was so close but think judges scored it right.

one judge had 3rd 10-8, which i know a few others scored it that way too, so overall nice job by the judges. Funny thing is all the #### talking going on and Conner saying they can maybe do it for the belt.

Boys obviously haven't been to Philly or the east coast in awhile. Take on 209 and that country in one quick swoop, so those silly advantages should be gone

A knock down? just 1?

Conor knocked him down twice in rd. 2. Diaz didn't land much significantly until 1:30 left.

Diaz landed a flurry to end round 3 (last 50 seconds, which was amazing) that make the stats much more lopsided then that round was.

However, if you want to score rd 3 a 10-8 round, I think round 1 would be 10-8 (or at least in the relm). Neither round should have been 10-8 imo.

Great fight. Diaz is a warrior.

Post fight conference is gold...

Nate Diaz is smoking weed out of a vape pen, referring him to himself as Conor's sensei, and he'll be at the after party while Conor's in the hospital.

You tell me who won?  WAR Diaz!!

Great fight and great card. Props to Connor for an awesome game plan and showing some heart when he could have caved. Bummed Nate lost , but I'll watch fights like that all day, every day.

But how the hell did someone score it 47-47? That's just ridiculous. There wasn't anything close to a 10-8 round in that fight.

Liver is under and behind your lower ribs under your right arm.   If you're facing someone , their liver is on your left.

edit:  I don't think we disagree on where the liver is.  Maybe we don't agree on where that shot landed on Story.

That would be some shot for cowboy to hit the ride side of story with a right punch

You think that punch landed under Story's ribs on his right side?

Looks like the punch lands almost dead center in the middle of Story's abs..

Conor fought a smarter fight, was more efficient with his energy and still looked ready to collapse halfway into the 2nd round.  Diaz had him broken several times during the fight, but made the decision to push him against the cage and go for a takedown rather than continuing to punch him in the face.

It's amazing how the fans have made DC into the villain in the DC v Jones saga.
