I'm glad we got a chance to see Khamzat in a good fight.  I was really impressed, but there are definitely holes in his game.  I don't think he can take Usman or Colby in a 5 round, but he could probably smash Edwards.

Yan should've been firing off more knees in the fifth.   Aljo just putting his head down and coming in with weak, half assed TD attempts.  I'm happy with the result though.  So many people losing their minds over it 😂.

Great fight right now between Trinaldo and Roberts.

Main card starts after this fight

During Buffers introductions, I put a few bucks on Tony at 5/1 to win inside the distance...halfway through round one I thought I was good.

Then, I wasn't. Lol

Decided to go to the fights tonight. Had no idea were even upcoming in town if it wasn't advertised at Suns game. Mixed bag obviously. Tragic Oliviera was stripped over 1/2 a pound. Tremendous performance by him. El Cucuy KO was FN brutal.  For a time he was the best in the division IMO but they ought to save him from himself. Doubt they will and he'll be used as gatekeeper for up and comers. Rose & Shogun fights were about as boring a fights as I've ever watched. Should have declared the woman's title vacant after that. Sadly on the same card. Was bummed not to see Cerroni/Lauzon even if both are well past their primes. Didn't even know Lauzon was still in UFC.

I thought he won the first round, but he got caught by an unexpected front kick.  This is the first time he had been knocked out cold, and it seems like a fluke to me.  I don't think he is washed up, but he has just been fighting the best of the best.  Olivera was clearly better than him and everyone in the division.  He looked ok vs Gathje early, and could have knocked him out with the uppercut at the end of the round.  He survived, but yeah Gathje is better.  Dariush is the only time I thought Tony looked like garbage, but I think Dariush is better than people think, and a bad matchup for Tony.   I'm not sure what is next, but he could be a good comeback fight for McGregor, although Chandler's name is floating around already.  Islam is another guy that may dominate Tony like Dariush did.

Ooof, JDS dislocates his shoulder throwing a punch.

Odd that Kamaru Usman was a commentator for Eagle FC tonight, unless Khabib and Dana are on good terms.
