UFC wagering: no longer stuck with the old thread title. The window to change it is here! (4 Viewers)

UFC really needs to let Diego move on.

He has zero business at 170. And too slow for where he should be.

Brutal KO by Brown.

Caught up on the main card. Wheeeeeeeew, Poirier/Pettis was a scrap. Also the kind of fight that I suppose would make me think "man, what am I DOING with my life" if I were a fighter. Pettis bled like a stuck pig, got his nose Franklin'd and then suffered a separated rib or something. Yikes.

Albini's diaper :lmao:

Could be wrong but think it was paul felder. Thought he did pretty good job for someone's first time (I believe). Had heard him in studio recently is only reason I think it was him.

Felder did one other small card I think. Solid analyst and will only get better. I think may have done some Tuesday contender fights too.

I know by nature of the fact that he's on TV on a UFC card that guy would ####### wreck me -- but my first thought looking at him was he looks like a lot of the shlubs I used to spar with.

And good god, that diaper.      I mean, does he have no one in his #######ed circle who could tell him to get some better shorts?

Theodorou’s striking is so damn silly. :lmao:

I wish he’d work his grappling more. I remember him doing really nice work from top position in his first UFC fights, but he seems content to give us trash kickboxing.

Dan hardy was trying to sell that as a positive..."tonight is the longest in-octagon time of any UFC card ever...fans are really getting their money's worth from such evenly matched bouts....."  <_<

I believe there were three straight split decisions in there.

Hope bisping was paid well for this gastelum fight. No idea why he'd take the fight on a nothing card that no one watched.

And really weird he'd get cleared so quickly.

I have been reading up on the business side of the UFC and things are not going well.

The PPV numbers are weak.   Of the top 100 UFC PPV's of all time, only two have occurred in 2017.

And today it was reported that Fox has offered around $200m per year for the next set of UFC rights.  During the sale of the UFC, these rights were valued at $450m per year.

It feels like the Ferrtitas timed the sale near perfectly although I don't think anyone was predicting that the two biggest names (McGregor and Rousey) would both out of the sport for the entire year of 2017.
