Ultimate Survivor League 1 (1 Viewer)

Sorry guys I just realized I had the scoring system a bit off here. Updated results:

An outsiders take on how this league will shake down:

Code:
rzrback77 37-18Twilight 37-18Renesauz 37-18AceFootball 36-19~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Henderson 32-23Larry Allen's Jock Strap 32-23loose circuit 28-27Old Milwaukee 26-39Mark Wimer 21-34Crippler 18-37evil empire 17-38Jail 7-48
Wow, this is the first time I came back to see this. Really? Projecting 7-48 for a team with Westbrook, Forte & Brees? Too funny. It is one thing for a team to finish with that record but quite another to project that type of finish. I know I need a lot of things to bounce my way to break away from the middle of the pack, but your projection is just silly.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with week one. Delhomme's meltdown limited the Philly offense badly, so McNabb had low yards, and Desean Jackson barely touched the ball. I can't imagine Steven Jackson benig ignored in the passing game like that too often.

Hopefully McNabb doesn't miss too much time, but if he does, I think I'll be OK with Eli Manning/Kerry Collins....looks like the G-men are going to throw a bit more this year, and Tenn's passing attack appears at least marginally better.

Wow is this going to be a close league, IMO. And it doesn't get closer fighting between 9-2 and 7-4

Going the final 30 seconds of the Oak/SD game, me and Rene are a touch over a point apart. FG puts him over me. TD+XP lets me keep my lead.

Unfortunately for Renesauz, Sproles scores the TD. Even worse, that propels Acefootball to .2 above him.

Here's how week 1 ended up. Ridiculously close.

 Great defense all game only to lay down in the final minutes. Almost cost me a W in another league too.

Since I drafted Duckett & Graham as my RB3&RB4, I don't have a whole lot of opportunity to win this thing

That's great news. Now I just have to pass three others since you have volunteered to drop down and out.

That's because Clayton fixed the Non-decimal scoring issue. This resulted in a few extra points per person from the fractional yards that were lost under the 1/25 and 1/10 scoring.

guess my team has other ideasI'm assuming the site is going to be updated with the correct line-ups. Right now Palmer is on my bench eventhough he scored the most of all my QB's

The live scoring is funked up. Use the Gameday program if you want live scoring (what I've posted is accurate).

I tried the gameday scoring as well and it was not correct either. Probable math errors below, but long hand math on the individual scoring produced the following without addressing the players remaining for tonight:

1) Loose circuits 220.8

2) Renesauz 188.8

3) rzrback77 167.8

4) Twilight 166.7

5) Jail 155.3

6) Wimer 150.6

7) Ace football 146.9

8) Larry Allen 129.9

9) Crippler 129.8

10) Henderson 123.0

11) Evil Empire 113.8

12) Old Milwaukee 111.9

Most teams still have players remaining, but not my team.

I'm not talking about the Gameday tab on the website. I am talking about the Gameday program you can download, and use it to follow every MFL league you are in. It's scoring has been right on.

Is it obvious on MFL site?

Gameday LinkHere's the link to the program. Download, install, and enter the league ID. It grabs the rosters, rules, and schedule, and checks every 30 seconds for live scoring. Absolutely fantastic when you have multiple leagues on MFL like I do.

Thanx to that last TD by Garcon, I moved ahead of Rzrback to take the overall lead through two weeks...

I'd say everybody through Wimer is definitely still in it. I just don't see anyone in the bottom 4 staging that big a comeback.

That one catch by Garcon to win the game for the Colts bumped Twilight ahead of me. Sure could have used that additional win. :football: Need Welker back pronto!

Definitely could be some movement tomorrow, although none likely to bump into the top 4

Poor QB drafting (especially Brady Quinn who helped to kill Braylon's value, who I also drafted)and injuries, primarily to Welker, but also Boldin, I think that my team is now a long, long shot to climb back. I needed to be in the hunt after week three as I have my only performing QB Ryan as well as three WRs (Boldin, Breaston, and Jenkins) and McCoy all on bye next week.

Disappointed, especially in Welker and B Edwards. Moss, Cotchery and especially V Jax would have all been much better picks than Edwards.

QB scoring can't be ignored as long as I did and not expect underwhelming numbers.

Well, if Wimer wasn't essentially out of it anyways, not having a QB in week 5 would probably doom him, as the TB starter is the only TB QB he doesn't have. :goodposting:

Meanwhile, I need every win I've gotten, as my WR corps loss of Robinson gives me no margin for these last two weeks.

Looks like Renesauz and Acefootball are locks. Me and Loose circuits are in right now. The only other person with a chance is Old Milwaukee, and with Addai, Wayne, and Dallas Clark to go, he has a shot.

Hey Survivor League 1

I know I haven't commented in this thread the last week and a half or so - my apologies. My wife's dad was hospitalized last Saturday night/Sunday morning in terminal condition. He subsequently died, and I've been helping her with the funerary arrangements and aftermath ever since (had to fly from Georgia to Nebraska as part of this, with 2 kids under seven).

GL to whoever advances to round 2.

Sincerely,

MW

Condolences Mark, but commentary isn't required in these threads. Hell, I pouted last week with my 1 win performance and didn't post any updates myself, and I sure didn't have close to a good reason as that.

wouldn't he have to beat Rzrback (assuming Larry Allen & Crippler beat me) in order to beat me or am I reading the board wrong?

Pretty much.As of right now(halftime), OM has 7 wins, you are at 6, and I'm at 10 (Rene is at 8, Rzrback is 9, Ace is 11)Giving records of OldMil 32 - 23Twilight 36 - 18-1loose 36 - 19Renesauz 39 - 16Acefootball 40 - 15If OM gets to the top score, he should knock me out. In order to knock you out, he needs you to drop at least 1 more spot (You would win a tiebreaker, as you have scored about 100 more points so far.) and climb to the top spot, or 2nd if LA and crippler pass you.If OM didn't have the 3 Colts, I'd declare this over. But with them, I'll keep sweating it.

I have us tying now. Which would put me ahead based off points? He actually had to pass you

Yeah, now that's done, it looks like you are right. OM's best, now that SNF is done, is a tie with you. So it looks like we have our final 4, after a very close final night

Loose Circuits, Renesauz, AceFootball, and me.
