I believe Ahmad Bradshaw was announced the starter after the draft. The draft also took place before Hardesty tore his ACL, possibly helping Harrison carry a bigger load.*Both of those situations should come in handy with my hodgepodge of running backs behind Frank Gore.Shawn Nelson got suspended for four games following our draft, but that was admittedly a wasted pick anyway.
 
Stallworth and MBush might be useless in this for me...and the Harvin/Berrian combo looked like a big steaming pile of doggie doo last night however I might have hit gold with Arian Foster. I loaded up at WR with Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson and DeSean Jackson so if I can still come out OK with Charles, Foster, THT and LT anchoring the RB.

9-2 with AJ, Calvin, and DeSean all well below where they should be. I'll take the AJ numbers if it means Foster is going thru the roof but that will even up a little bit this week.

Clayton throwing down a 10-1 spot, always good to get off to a fast start. There was .05 between 2nd and 3rd... :shrug: but also just a handful of points between top and several spots down...gonna be a close race.

I was gonna say...I kept looking at the score going "one more TD from someone...1 more TD!!!" but it never came. This could get really exciting.I'll need some game from my 2 big RBs to survive. Stafford out hurts...Delhomme as my starter was not something I expected at QB

Delhomme twisted his ankle and is undergoing an MRI this week...was on the Cleveland page over at sportsline fyi.
 
Clayton should easily move ahead some more tonight...not much scoring form his WR but he ahs quite a few tonight and tomorrow night.

My 201 is not looking like a shoe in for 11-0 this week.

What happened to everyone in this league? I only have 2 players in the top30, Foster at #5 and Kyle Orton at #16, go figure. My RBs are still pretty shaky and the Percy Harvin/Bernard Berrian combo has been a disaster. Kolb is a disaster, Michael Bush another wasted pick. My trio at defense has been pretty good. I have some bye week issues coming up but if I can post even normal scores the rest of the way I am going to be very close to advancing. A lot can change, lot of football left to play the next 3 weeks.
 
I'm gettin killed by QB and DeAngelo...even my makeshift WR corps is managing to do what I thought I needed it to with decent scores each week, and my TEs are shining just like I felt they would. QB hurts real bad week in and week out though with Delhomme and Stafford injured.

 
Very nice week MOP!

I'm hoping the 200's, 190's and 180's don't become the norm in this league. I don't think I have the players to pick up huge weeks like that.

 
Not a single hit on my RBs is really hurting this team. MJD, Spiller, Slaton, and Portis all performing well under my expectations. Jot to mention Hardesty going out for the year before he even got started. Celek off to a very slow start hurts as well.

QBs and Wide Receivers are producing very well.

Never would have dreamed I'd be tied for last with this squad, that's for sure.

I'm dead in the water.... Sometimes when a guy is gimpy in TC, it's more than him just trying to avoid TC. Gotta wonder where I would be with an actual WR in place of Sidney Rice. Moeki and Hernandez doing well for me at TE, but no real second WR in a league where I need 3...

MOP 34-10...if that happens we have our 1st lock for the next round

Clayton 33-11...he would have to have something that is almost impossible happen not to advance at this point

Go2Ext 30-14...Probably 11-0 this week, great chance to advance

Then we have a 4-5 car pile up

Pigskin 23-21...Should finish 10-1 this week, lot of bullets in the chamber for the MNF

Crippler 22-22

Surferguy 20-24...really bad week

Valence 19-25...been coming on strong after a rough start

Needless to say I feel great as some folks thought I would have issues on the 1st bye week. Clayton really struck gold late in the draft and then even later in the draft with guys like McFadden and Hillis, not to mention Austin Collie. He really did an incredible job of finding gems in the later rounds. I myself got lucky with Arian Foster and also switching gears the second everyone started going TE/TE in the 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd rounds. People put a little too much stock in the extra .5 point they got.

 
I think the only part of my strategy that actually has worked was Gates in the first round. Should have shotgunned RB instead of receivers and taken an early QB, but TE is surprisingly the one part I dont regret.

He's scored 3-4x what others have around him. He's on pace for 1500+yds and 24 TDs for the season.

It's been an up and down ride for me so far, but I'm glad to at least be in position to advance. Looking back, my draft wasn't great, but i guess I've garnered enough big weeks to win a fair share of games. Colston is a definite bust in the 3rd, but Watson was a nice grab in the 23rd.

 
I wouldn't want to jinx it, but with a good enough performance by Davis to flex him over DeAngelo Williams........I think I advance.

I left at the 3:00 games with the following sentiment "Man, I really need some TDs from Meachem and Roy today."

Meachem has been invisible the first 4 weeks, nice to see he still has a pulse.

Go2Ex is going to advance, he only needed a week like what he posted...36 wins should get him in. It will come down to you and Pigskin for the last spot apparently. If Pig ends up 11-0, you 10-1...it's going to go to total points scored.

 
Pigskin and I are both ahead of Crippler I believe...even if he stays at 7-4, he'd be:

29-26

I would be 32-23 or 31-24

Pigskin would be 30-25 or 31-24

Only 5 teams are going to end up with 30 wins or more, no?

ETA: i think I'm in then. I have 16.2 more total points to date, and currently stand at another 201.6 this week.

Pigskin has to beat that 201.6 to tie, and then he also needs to beat it by another 16.21. He currently stands at 175.30. The magic number is then 217.81, which means Moss/Holmes/Keller/Fasano must combine for the following:

One WR must score pretty darn well, because we have 3 required

The other WR or one of the TEs needs to really outscore Derrick Ward, who is scoring at 7.80 right now.

The only other way I see for him to score more is by outscoring Marcedes Lewis with the other TE.

These factors need to combine to increase his score by 26.30 to force the total points tiebreaker, and a total of 42.51 in order to win.

Not my league so pardon the interruption if this doesn't help you.....BUT total points makes no difference......if you are in a straight survivor league it is scores this week that make it or don't.....if you are in an all-play league - so records each week are between 11-0 and 0-11 then it is your total record....I am not sure what the rules say if there is an exact tie in records for the 4th spot - that would be the only one relevant
