Halt and Catch Fire was pretty great and about 7 people watched it.

The only one of the shows AMC endlessly pimped during MM & BB that i actually thought might be good & seriously watched. Equally flawed & promising, it might have been good, but you could tell the suits were giving notes to punch this and feature that so they lost me after 4-5 epsHalt and Catch Fire was pretty great and about 7 people watched it.![]()
I don't like the ones with racing, for some reason. Just the building/restoring ones. That show about street drag racing with a bunch of hayseeds in Oklahoma. Street Outlaws?
I know this is something that a lot of people say, but it really finds it footing in s2.The only one of the shows AMC endlessly pimped during MM & BB that i actually thought might be good & seriously watched. This exists? This is Douglas Adams, isn't it?I saw season one. I caught one episode flipping channels one day, then had to binge-marathon the whole season in one sitting![]()
(I didn't watch season 2 once it was all "legalized")
I also watch: Trial & Error on NBC, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (which is actually kinda good), the Doctor Blake Mysteries and occasionally Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Australian Survivor, QI, The Great British Bake Off (including the much-maligned new season with Noel and Sandi, which I thought was just as good as any regular season), Naked Attraction (who hates full-frontal nudity? Plus, the girlfriend of the lesbian former host of the Great British Bake Off is the host of this one), Fleabag, Crashing (the UK version, not the US version), Hell's Kitchen, Ink Master, Ink Master Angels, MTV's Stranded With A Million Dollars (I hated everyone on the show and couldn't stop watching), The Amazing Race, The Amazing Race: Canada, The Amazing Race: Australia, The Mole: Australia, A&E's LivePD, MasterChef, Con Man, Bar Rescue, and I even watched the weirdo "Full Throttle Saloon" TV series on TruTV.
And, yes, I'm that guy who's under 60, yet still watches NCIS. (But just the original, not them gawdawful New Orleans or Los Angeles versions)
Hot Potato! It's based on the novels, yes. Done by BBC-America. It's currently in the second season. Executive Producer/Showrunner is Max Landis (son of John), who did Chronicle & American Ultra. Penny Dreadful's Sam Barnett is Dirk Gently, and Elijah Wood is his sidekick.
The first season should be on Netflix (which also co-produces).
It is much better than the BBC's 2010 version.
There is such a thing as "sharing too much."I saw season one. I caught one episode flipping channels one day, then had to binge-marathon the whole season in one sitting![]()

Ahh, I see. Cool.I mean, they're original stories, not adaptations of the novels. But in a similar vein.
