Vanilla Ice renovates homes? Really!? And has been for 15 years? And has his on show?!!

I seriously can't wait to see this. :lmao:

This is a great show. Missed out on it for a long time because I didn't have DIY. He knows his stuff and looks like he has done very well.

While they maintain their youthful hipness during construction activities, youd think that 40yr old men would be smarter with dangerous machines. Yet they act like idiots. I can't help but wonder why OSHA hasn't stepped in on them. Those guys are an accident waiting to happen and it's dangerous for them to be on tv.

Don't understand your shock here. 90% of conservative white collar people go crazy in a bobcat and you expect construction workers to be worried about safety? Half the fun of working in residential construction is hearing how guys like these injure themselves with tools. Guys like this shoot nails at each other out of high psi nail guns while smoking cigs, drinking natural light, and cursing their 8 past wives. OSHA couldn't care less about anything I've seen on VIP. OSHA barely has enough people to monitor dangerous plant and commercial construction.

I don't disagree with you, I've run plenty of these types off my sites even when I had multiple full time safety guys. But these numb nuts are on tv and presenting themselves as industry folks, not jackass style stunts. If love it if an inspector showed up on their job site. I will never, ever work in residential construction.

Plea, plea, baby.

The rapper, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, appeared in Palm Beach County Court on Thursday where he agreed to perform 100 hours of community service and pay $1,333 to the estate of a neighbor in Lantana for allegedly stealing furniture and pool equipment, according to the pre-trial intervention deal.

Van Winkle also must acknowledge that he is guilty of the crime, but the charge will be dismissed and he will have no criminal record upon completing terms of the agreement, Cohen said.

The grand theft charge was a third-degree felony which carried a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

For that outcome, I would plead out too. I think his show is a fun take on home flipping shows and his willingness to do massive upscale projects is nice

The show is pretty corny but amusing and he does good work. Pretty dumb to steal some random junk like that, but he's kind of a jackass.
