VDB vs DD? (1 Viewer)

I think I understand that the DD incorporates the VDB program/philosophy as it crunches the numbers. That being said, if I only use the DD during the draft, am I missing something? What/why is there a lot of discussion about the DD and the VDB tools separately. What is the relationship between the two?

So in other words, I don't really need to agonize over how to use both tools simultanenously - but I should just use the DD and the VDB analysis will be incorporated?

exactly. the DD incorporates the VBD into it. The VBD, imo, works best when you can only have a printout. The DD, givin it is dynamic and works best on a computer, is best for doing mock drafts and during drafts.
