I know AR is going to stick with Kolb unless he gets sacked like jay cutler and loses the game ugly. I'm welling to go further by predicting Kolb keeping the starting job even if Eagles lose as long kolb looks pretty. I know what AR claimed to the media, but behind closed doors I think the decision has already been made. Kolb is AR's man, they traded #5 to invest in this dude. Everyone in philly's inner circle whispers it was the front office that forced AR to start Vick in the first time around, I don't think they going to force AR again this time, especially after AR proved his point after Kolb play so well the past two games. I'm a Vick Owner, but I'm not going to fool myself and use blind bias, just hope Kolb choke this weekend... Real bad!
My contact to the "Philly inner circle" says NO WAY the front office even knew this change was coming. Again, posters and fans keep assuming this and it is understandable, but they could not be more wrong. This was a decision between Kolb and AR and
no one else. There was no "grassy knoll" theory on this deal, AR acted alone. Time to accept it.
G-King, I appreciate all the info you pass along.

Any inclination as to whether Reid's decison was based on:
a) Sorry, Kevin, but the O-Line stinks, and Vick and his mobility are a better fit. I put you back behind center you'll be killed
or
b) Sorry, Kevin, but the offense looked pretty poor in the pre-season and week 1 was not off to a good start. Vick is the better QB right now, and this gives you a chance to watch and learn.
And as a total aside, are KK and Vick really friends? Vick congratulated him last week after the bomb to Maclin and the announcers went on about how close the two are and how they really want the other to succeed. Just curious. I would think two ultra-competitive guys fighting for the PT would be
