I was never a big RPG type gamer but I don't even have gold anymore. I had a blast playing with ORC on Evolve but that seemed to die quickly also.
Would totally be down for an Evolve run. HMU if you're on this evening.
Depending what platform your on (XONE here) my girlfriend and I would love playing evolve again with people. It's a fun great game when with 3-5 people, with less it can be very frustrating.

now that I picked up my Fallout: New Vegas game again, I decided to do the "Dead Money" DLC. holy hell, what an ugly mess this is! does anyone actually enjoy this DLC?! you're basically going back and forth in a city maze, devoid of any interesting colors, short on resources, littered with stupid traps and many diverse ways to die. and I guess the only thing you really get out of this is a lot of money...which I've already got!

so now instead of trying to scavenge for anything cool, I'm going to try and just speed through this turd-colored nightmare and get back to the wasteland. Ed-E is waiting for me.
I stopped playing when I started that DLC. It really ruined NV for me.
I'm only halfway through it, but so far it may be the worst DLC I've ever played.
It's horrid. I fought my way through it just to be done. Not playing it ever again. It almost ruined NV for me.
Pretty much killed my game. I'm about 3/4 complete but low on health and ammo while starving and thirsty with no food in sight (im on hardcore mode).

That was two years ago. I've tried to gtfo of there a few times and eventually say F it.

Glad I didn't play that one then. I did the Honest Hearts DLC for FO:NV and I enjoyed that, then tried Lonesome Road and didn't like it much and stopped there without finishing it. I probably run about 25% satisfaction with DLCs generally.

Just pitched a AAA no-hitter (4E by my team, including one of my own. Threw to second on a routine grounder and missed second anyhow. Gotta remember that it's square for first.), 1 BB, 12 Ks, and my team won 1-0 with a first inning run in MLB 2015 RTTS.

Pitching rules in this game. Must pitch more.

How do you guys build your pitcher in The Show RTTS?

Power pitching Nolan Ryan type?

Has anyone tried & had success with a finesse pitcher with a low 90s fastball but a crazy array of breaking stuff?

My pitcher currently has the 4 and 2 seam fastballs with a really good sinker. I mostly try to paint the corners with fastballs (or the batter's cold area) and then drop a sinker in the zone for strike three. The 4 seam fastball hits 96 so not overpowering but still quite strong.

This is my first foray into pitching so not an expert. I would like to build another pitcher that has crazy breaking stuff. Maybe a knuckleballer for ####s and giggles.

:lmao:

I knew you'd appreciate that.

I almost always build power pitchers. 4SB at 100mph, killer Change, wicked slider and then add a splitter once he's developed a bit so I have a good DP ball.

Video games as a rule are not supposed to be realistic but I'm ready for this batman game to be over. I came to this realization after the 35th time I tried to race the Arkham Knight through some subway tunnel in his 5 billion dollar machine. This is a ridiculous amount of work to just kill one guy.

The new Batman is now on my list of Why I Don't Trust Game Reviews. Pretty much the entire internet thinks that this game has serious problems, but the "official" reviews were stellar.

At some point you have to stop and think how did one guy get China's gross national product just to take down one man. It's just too stupid to even be that fun.

Gamespot (easily my favorite review site) gave it a fairly uninspired 7, and pointed out the over-reliance of the batmobile. That one review kept me away from it, and I'm happy I held off. I'll get it for $20 in a few months.

I do this with most games.

picked up the new golf game yesterday....only got to play a little late last night....liking it so far...
I got it yesterday too. Been really wanting a next-gen golf game (The Golf Club looked interesting, but boring too. I wanted crowds, announcers, etc.)

The good is it's a very, very good game of golf, and fun to play a round. Definitely has that EA PGA vibe, crowds, good announcers, etc. The graphics are great as well(best ever for a golf game), and having the entire course load is nice (the last few games were maddening between holes - this game plays MUCH faster.)

The bad part... wow, did they cut a lot out. Customize your golfer's look? Nope. You get a few head / body options that will bring you back to 2002. Amazing, since almost all other EA titles shine here, have the camera recognition, etc. The course roster is small as well - something like 8 real, and 4 fantasy courses. About half of what we usually get (and no Masters). The goodies / equipment are pretty sparse, too. Nothing like past years. You can't even see a tournament calendar - you have no idea what the next event is until you play it.

From what I understand, they are going to release a lot of free stuff - probably more courses, more equipment, and hopefully some better customization options.

Mixed opinion here. I wanted a new next-gen golf game, and this is a great game of golf. It looks and plays better than any golf title before it. So that part is good. But it's missing those little things that make it an engaging "game", too. I already don't care that much about my virtual golfer's career, and there's little in the way of carrot/stick feeling.

Right now, I don't feel it's worth $60. That may change if they release another 5 courses, more equipment, and better customization for free. We'll see.

Ok, need some help here. Slightly off topic but not so much since it deals with the xbox360. Anyways, I have one in one room that I use for gaming and to watch netflix. There is another xbox in another room that the kids use for gaming, but I can't get it to connect to the wireless for them to get netflix in there. How do I go about fixing it so it can?

How far away is the router from that room? Does it show your home network as available but with a low signal or does it not find it at all?

It's literally 10 feet from the router. It shows nothing.

Wireless could be dead, if it's 10 ft from the router, can you cable it?

Wireless works for everything else in the house.

I mean the wireless receiver on the 360 could be dead if it doesn't see any networks. Most of the time you should see a couple on there.

WHen you go to network settings tab what does it say?

Does it have built in wifi? the older fat 360s did not.

It's a black one, but the hd space is either nill or very small, I do know that. It was just bought two Christmas's ago.

2015 The Show continues to dominate the playing time when I get it. My lumberjacked 1B for the Yankees has helped get the team to the World Series. So that was cool. With that I decided to create a pitcher and see what I could do there.

Got drafted by the fricken Red Sox. The Red Sox! I'm demanding a trade after every outing. don't care if I get some kind of team cancer label or something. I'd rather pitch for the Mets.

Although now that I've said that....... ew.........

But, for the guys that started with SP - what are the training aspects that you are focusing on that is making a better difference? I'm wondering if velocity and control isn't as important as cluch and h/9 for example...

H9 and BB9 are huge as well as clutch.

But Movement is also a big thing when I develop pitchers. I like having a nasty slider or sinker to go along with a great change and 4SFB.

And I am in the same boat with The Show 15 it dominates my gaming time for the most part.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Are the intangibles and overriding categories like clutch, H/9 and so on more important than actual stuff? It seems to me that if I have an unhittable 4 seamer that I can locate anywhere, but my H/9 is really low I'm still getting shelled. But if my stuff is average but my H/9 is awesome, then will the H/9 override my average stuff and get me out of jams?

Yes those intangible ratings are very important and critical to developing top notch pitchers.
