Video games...what ya playing? And what are you looking forward to? (1 Viewer)

Going through a library of older games. Just wrapped up Mass Effect. Great game, looking forward to ME2.

Currently playing Assassin's Creed 2 and going through it a a pretty rapid pace. At least for me it is. This game is so much better than the first one...

On deck: Bioshock, Fallout 3, and ME2.

I also bought Tropico. It was a guilty pleasure of mine on the PC years back. Heard there are a lot of glitches but figure why not

What's the conscious on GTA IV? I might borrow it from a GB of mine. I enjoyed RDR but hated how unchallenging it was.

Second thing, Batman:AA is better than I thought it would be.
If you change the aiming from automatic (which is default) to manual it ramps up the difficulty significantly.

I have 5 days left on my xbox live gold membership and will be starting a new account today. Any suggestions for names?
Why are you starting a new account instead of re-upping your old one? Do you like getting those tough achievements over again or something? Not that gamerscore means anything anyway.

I don't know, might as well. I like replaying some games like Mass Effect 1&2, Bioshock 1&2, Gears 1&2 campaign, Lost Odyssey and others. I know gamerscore doesn't mean ####, but I am a collector at heart due to being raised playing Diablo 2. So even though it doesn't mean anything, I enjoy having goals to accomplish while replaying games I have already beaten and want to play again.

I still don't think you should change accounts.I just add and delete new non-live tags for when I want to play a replay a game over for the same reasons. I have 2 non-live tags. Just add an tag, choose to not be on live and you can name it whatever you want because nothing's taken on your own box (except for a couple of names).

The worst thing about starting a new account is that all of your downloads are linked to your account. All of your XBLA games, add-ons, etc cannot be accessed on another account. The only exception is that when you buy a game, item, etc on your account using a specific XBox system, it's also licensed to that system. So any other gamertags on that system can play that game too. If you ever buy a new system, or have to get it replaced for any reason, the license is on the other system, not your new one and you have to get the licenses to your downloads transferred to your system. You can do this once a year. Here's a link telling more if you're interested.

Also, if you just want to change the name on your gamertag, you can just pay 800 MSP points to get that done. I wish it were cheaper, but they try to limit it that way.

I'll still have all my DLC since I bought everything on this xbox, but if I ever need a new xbox I'll just do the license transfer. Not a big fan of having multiple account names on an xbox just due to me forgetting about picking whichever one I want to use. I use the auto look in and never even log at the accounts.

I vote keep same account so you don't have to make 100 people delete you and re-add you...
Na, I believe if I delte a person on my end of the account it deletes for both people, then I'll re add them. So basically people will have to hit the A button twice, not sure if that is asking to much.

But you'll need the old account that you bought the DLC and XBLA games with the do the license transfer. It sounds like a complicated mess to me. If you have as much downloaded as me, that's a lot to be potentially losing just because you don't like to clutter your xbox with tags. I also auto-log into my main account, but that'll change when my daughter gets old enough to play on it regularly.I just double-checked and you'll just need to remember your account information (name and pass). It doesn't have to remain a paid account. You can leave it a silver account and then sign in to do the license transfer. I don't know why I was thinking that. But it's still more complicated that way. If you get the new account, don't forget to send me an invite.

Have a Happy New Year everyone!

Playing the Little Big Planet 2 demo, and watching some of the trailers in the demo, I think this game has the potential to be one of the greatest games ever. The level of customization is simply unbelievable.

Going to be replaying Castle Crashers, Lara Croft and the Guardian of the Light, Gears of War 1 & 2, and Borderlands(all dlc) campaigns in the upcoming weeks on the 360. Looking for co-op partners if anyone wants to join in.

Might be interested in Gears 1....try to get some more achievements or something.

I'm IN for those two. Possibly the Lara Croft game, but I worry that'll be such a time sink, that I may not have time for.

Doing a speed run through Gears of War 1 tonight on casual while collecting all the COG tags. Going to play till I pass out, so I'll probably beat it, any partners are welcome. New gamer tag is "o The Contest o".

P.S. GoW1 campaign still looks/sounds flipping awesome 4 years later. Just wish there was no active snipers.

I am addicted to Dragon Age Origins.

Fantastic RPG. Graphics are very average...but the gameplay, music, voice acting and story is top notch!

Anyone who liked Assassin's Creed 2 really needs to pick up AC:Brotherhood. Despite the name, it's really a sequel and makes a lot of improvements on AC2. Highly recommended. Last I checked it was pretty cheap (~$30-35) on Amazon.

If we could get a FBG AC Brotherhood multipler lobby going it would be money. I know a few of us have it, but not sure if 6 do.

I let my Gold subscription lapse, but between this and also getting Halo Reach at Christmas, I may get back online in the near future. Some FBG games would definitely motivate me to do so.

Where are you guys buying these games for cheap and how long after release are you getting games at these prices??

Which Mass Effect 2 dlc are worth playing?? All for the story?

Best Buy, Amazon, KMart, Target, and Toys R Us were having really good deals for the holidays, now many games are back to retail.

Really am loving it, only thing I haven't liked so far is moving from sequence 8 to 9. I will likely finish it up tomorrow.

The Shadow Broker one is the only one that really is critical from a story standpoint. Overlord was decent, and the Kasumi/thief mission is entertaining and adds a potential squad member, but is pretty short.

Just finished AC Brotherhood.

The endings was not what I expected, really didn't think whatever that girl's name is would get killed by Desmond. Setup for the next game though for sure. I absolutely hated how once you started the 8the memory sequence you were done in Rome and couldn't go back. The way I did this game and ACII was a lot of side quests and then a core memory or two and then back to some side quests. Really wish that you played Desmond a whole lot less then you wind up playing him.

What little time I've had has been spent playing Black Ops multiplayer with some coworkers and friends. I still think MW2 was a better game, but at least my friends are playing this one which makes it more fun. Occasionally I can get in an hour or 2 of New Vegas in. Starting to get burned out on that one though.

Have not touched Civ 5 on my pc for weeks. Have a used copy of Bioshock 2 I haven't touched yet and Fable 3 is still unopened. ;) After this week is over, I should get a lot more free time to play some stuff and catch up though.
