I don't mind ME3 getting delayed all that much. Between Skyrim, Uncharted, Battlefield, Twisted Metal, and whatever else was coming out in the holiday season, I was going to have to skip some good games over anyway.
Eh its not too bad. 2007 to 2010 to 2012. I think coming out with ME3 so quickly after ME2 might have felt rushed anyway. I love ME but I like the waiting between sequals. Keeps you wanting more.It was originally scheduled for holiday 2011. I'm sure Bioware will use that time wisely. I just thought some would find the news disappointing. To make it even more awesome, I hope.Sad news. Mass Effect 3 has been delayed until early 2012.(Wasn't that the original release time?)
Seriously...but add in Arkham City, Gears of War 3 and Bioshock 3 for me.I don't mind ME3 getting delayed all that much. Between Skyrim, Uncharted, Battlefield, Twisted Metal, and whatever else was coming out in the holiday season, I was going to have to skip some good games over anyway.
I think I banged all three . . . and the secretary. Some as a good guy and some on the second playthrough as a badass.Somehow I managed to bang Jack and Miranda both. I would have stuck it to Tali if you could see her without the mask, but no dice.Yep.Really glad I banged Miranda instead of Jack or Tali.I still haven't played ME1 or 2Anyone else getting Brink (360) next week?
is right. Everyone I've ever recommended Mass Effect to agrees that it is completely amazing. Check it out BB2K3, you won't be disappointed.
Bioshock Infinite isn't expected until sometime in 2012, IIRC.Seriously...but add in Arkham City, Gears of War 3 and Bioshock 3 for me.I don't mind ME3 getting delayed all that much. I'm looking at Amazon and realized the pre-order was for Dec 31st, 2012 instead of 2011. That's good though as there are only so many hours in the day a grown man can play video games.I saw the videos....but Miranda was the right choice. She's got nice physical attributes and most importantly....she's been genetically modified to be the best at whatever she does. Tali just talks too much, you don't see her face....and with that getup and always being undercover....I'm not too sure about her landscaping. Jack's just crazier that an #### house rat.....and she'd stalk you. I wish I knew you could nail the secretary....butI think I banged all three . . . and the secretary. No, and they won't either. ME1 was published by Microsoft so it won't ever be released on PS3.Did they ever release a Mass Effect 1&2 Greatest Hits/combo-pack type thing for PS3? I shouldn't spend more money on games but if both ME's can be had for cheap...
Can't recommend this game enough at that price. Mentioned this before, but this is one of my favorite games and I'm not even a huge FPS guy. It's very difficult at first, but after you level you weapons the difficulty curves in your favor. One of the few games I have played through multiple times. It's also a rare game in that you can't start the mission from anyplace on the map so if you die, it doesn't feel like you get stuck on the same part over and over. For those that don't have it, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is $6.80 (66% off) today on Steam. The Vietnam expansion is $7.50 (50% off).
Medal of Honor Airborne ($2.50) and last year's Medal of Honor ($14.99) are also on sale. I believe this is today only.
Still can't figure out if I'm in on this. So many games I'm behind onL.A. Noire commercials everywhere now.![]()

I wonder how much I missed, as I kept seeing cake boxes in the "old" Aperture offices, but nothing after that. I might need to go back and play the original just for fun, as well.Finished Portal 2 and was very satisfied. Going to go back and replay because I feel like I missed some of the dialogue and I also feel like I might have missed out on some secret spots. Portal had a ton of back rooms with the pictures of Cake and Cubes and either I missed that in this one, or they just didn't put it in.

I finished Portal 2 two days after I bought it, what a fantastic game with an original storyline.A comment on the hidden areas: there are some in 2 but not as many as Portal 1.Also I am torn between which song is better portal 1 (Still Alive) or portal 2 (Turret opera). No, she assured me there was going to be cake and a party. Got it, played it for a good part of hte weekend. Its a pass. Gonna put it up on Ebay and start Mass Effect 1.Anyone get Brink?
DAO is one of my favorite games ever. If you loved DAO, DA2 will make you want to vomit in your mouth. They took DAO dumbed it down and made it a hack and slash with a bunch of gay dudes who like to hit on you.finished the ultimate edition of Dragon Age: Origins and loved it. I think that's what a classic RPG should be. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than Final Fantasy 13, and I'm a huge FF fanboy.kinda bummed that people are saying DA2 sucks.
Having played each game through two plus times now, I'm even less convinced this criticism is particularly fair. Basically the only real change is that you have to press a button per each attack move now, instead of just issuing a general attack order. I don't find the inability to change the armor/clothing on party members particularly important either. The presence of homosexual characters was equally strong (or stronger) in the first game. The conversation/dialog is 10x better in the sequel.I certainly understand why someone would not like either of these games, but I'd encourage fans of Mass Effect and Dragon Age 1 to at least try out the DA2 demo for themselves.DAO is one of my favorite games ever. I'm really enjoying it. Except for the Final Round putting that is.Just bought a used copy of The Masters EA Tiger Golf or whatever they're calling it these days.
I'm really looking forward to finally playing this one on the 92" bigscreen.![]()

Are you using the Move controller? I'm really thinking about getting this since I bought the SOCOM Full Deployment edition (with the Move and gun) and flat out HATE playing SOCOM with the Move. I'm hoping playing Augusta will make me like the Move.I'm really enjoying it. Yeah, it came with the the Sharpshooter, Move and Navigation controller. It's a really cool concept, but moving and turning just flat out sucks. And it doesn't seem to want to hold the aimpoint after you set it.Did you buy a gun holder for the Move or are you just playing with the wand? Are you using the Move controller? :confetti:Oh, c'mon. Its an absolute button masher. I actually nodded off a few times in the boss battles. The dropping of enemies from out of no where, the absolutely pathetic use of the same areas over and over and over and the conversation is better??? It's a button masher in the sense that you press a button to attack, and you have to do that a lot (which can be annoying), but it's not a button masher in the sense that the timing of your attacks matters, or that you need to pull off combos or anything like that. -math underneath the superficially arcade game-like feel.Truth.Button mashing that a 2 year old could do, terrible enemy placements, very repetitive locations, and the dialog and overall story that is very sub par. DA:O was a classic, 15 months development time was not enough to create a worthy sequel. But wait, DA2 had shiny new graphics. Look, it has new graphics, there shiny....SHINY!!! I'm as far from a graphics whore as anyone. DA2 sucks, its content is just bad.'Buddy Ball 2K3 said:Oh, c'mon. Its an absolute button masher. I actually nodded off a few times in the boss battles. Both games are very, um, progressive in that regard.I have not even finished DAO yet, but have heard so much about the bevy of homo NPC's that want to get in your pants that no matter how awesome DAO turns out to be, I cannot see myself trying DA2 at all.
DA:O was an outstanding RPG game. It totally took the nerd in me for a ride. I've beaten it a couple different times (over five less than ten) and had reason to go back and play it some more. DA2 was a flop to me. Again, I've beaten it a couple times (three) but can't imagine a scenario where I play it again. In fact, the only reason I went back was to get some achievements. And because I'm clearly single.
Playing ME2 right now. Kinda got bored of it so I put it down for a spell. I might get the Fallout:NV DLC that came out and give it a whirl. Haven't been in the Fallout series since the winter so it might be time to dust off those games.
Bought Risk:Factions drunk on Saturday night. Not a smart move. Damn you Steam for not having a sobriety test.
