Video games...what ya playing? And what are you looking forward to? (7 Viewers)

Nothing interesting me so far. I really don't have many games on Steam that I'm excited about getting right now. I'll likely get Rogue Legacy, if that has a good sale. Other than that, I think I'm good on games for awhile.

Any experience with Endless Space?

How about Defiance?

Don't know if I'll grab either right now as I don't like go spend more than $10 on individual games in Steam sales but I'll keep watching those two for them to drop below $10

So if Far Cry 3 wins the "fan choice" thing and drops to $24.99 is it possible that it will drop even lower at some point later during the sale?

Yeah, i think it goes on a flash sale for at least 60% off later this week. It has been at $19.99 on amazon off and on for the last month, so I knida expect it to hit lower then that on one of the days.

I'm hoping the borderlands wins fan choice because i think that's a better price, though it may hit 75% off later in the week.

I don't know. Community choice prices pretty much always the same as the daily and flash sales during these things. But it's early and you have time to wait it out. I also hope Far Cry 3 drops further. I'd bite for 60% or more off.

Hotline Miami 75% making it $2.49, if you didn't grab this in the Humble Bundle a few weeks ago you probably should - although I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it drop to a dollar at some point. Either way everyone should own this game.

Also Scribblenauts unlimited 75% for $5 bucks is great.

Never heard of Hotline Miami. Might just see if it goes to $1.

I just started Deus Ex: Human Revolution the other day. I've played way too much COD, I just cannot get used to using the R3 button for ADS. Hopefully I can get over it because the game seems like it is a lot of fun.

I am a big fan of this game. I hope you get over it too.

One of the best video game soundtracks ever and the gameplay is amazing. Incredibly simple but still very skillful.

Looks A LOT like GTA 1: Vice City.

New flash deals just went up, Dark Souls 75% off for $7.49.

Do yourselves a favor. Sale lasts only 8 hours.

Just bought Bastion for $2.24 in a flash deal (still up for another 6 hours). I've heard so many good things about it that for $2, I had to try it.

New flash sales just went up, disappointing to say the least.

$7.49 for the core Civ 5 game would have been a bargain - last year.

New daily deals AND flash sales around noon tomorrow, hoping for Magic 2014 and Civ 5: Brave New World to go on sale.

The narrator is amazing, so good that they are bringing him back to play a similar role in their new game coming out.

Endless space is very fun. If you like civ type games you will love it.

Even better with the DLC.

I am looking for a good 4X space game. Any suggestions? Ideally, I would want gameplay like the Total War series - turn-based for strategy, RTS for the battles. I would hope for an easier learning curve, nothing that is too complicated to be able to enjoy. Why can't TW just make a space game? :( Would love to pick up one this Summer Sale.

Have dabbled in Homeworld 2, Jupiter something or other. Also played some Galactic Civ. ETA also played very minimally Sins of a Solar Empire. Wonder how 2 is.

Picked up borderlands 2 as planned. thought about getting the season pass, but normally haven't been too big on their DLC's, so passed on it.

I was bummed that I missed the one-day Xbox Live sale of Far Cry 3 for $20. But I picked up a copy yesterday from Walmart for $19.96. Played about an hour yesterday and love it so far.

Has anyone played Legend of Grimrock? Looks like a pretty neat dungeon crawler/adventure game. For $3.74 I just might try it out.

I picked up Endless Space when it was on sale. I haven't dived too far into it yet so I can't tell if I really like it or not. Seems fairly polished though.

Reviews say it is fun, but combat is pretty meh, FWIW.

I'd like to try BLOPS or BLOPS2, but they are still $20 or $30 - ridiculous for older games. Activision can suck it.

FTL for $2.49 and Fez for $4.99 sound like great deals.

Far Cry 3 at $24.99 seems pretty solid too but some of the experienced Steam sales guys say to wait so I'm gonna roll the dice.

I'm one of the people who have said that, but IGN was saying if it's on a flash sale that's usually the best you find for that game. Not sure who is right, just don't want you to miss out on it if you really want it. if 40% off is the best they do for FC3, i'm just going to wait for the holliday sale and hope it gets better. Already have a backlog to keep me busy for a bit.

I don't see FC3 going lower than $25 perhaps another $5.

FTL for $2.50 is a great price for a great game. Haven't played Fez but I have nothing but contempt for Phil Fish the developer so I don't plan on playing it.

NCAA 14 is fun
How is dynasty mode?
I usually only rent NCAA Football. This year, I bought. I think Dynasty mode has been greatly improved. I wish some more work was put into Road to Glory, though.
I always buy. Last year was a major disappointment. This year has been fun, I'm doing the ultimate team stuff until they get good named rosters. Fun but frustrating with the lack of info on collections, etc.

Super meat boy is on flash sale. Seems like a game you should play with a controller, yes? Anyone play it?
Its better on a controller for sure. Its a great game. Precision platforming at its finest.

I've seen FC3 for $15 at least a few times in the last several weeks. I want the game, but I'll wait until I see it that low again. I may finally pick up FTL and Fez. I've played the demos and they both seemed solid.
