I have a Diablo question.

I am just starting adventure mode.

On the map, near the bounties, sometimes there is a little diablo icon next to them and sometimes not. What does that mean?

See pic below. There is a little icon next to Archives of Zoltun Kulle and not one next to Stinging Windshttp://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140528215547/diablo/images/a/a7/Diablo-iii-reaper-of-souls-adventure-mode-4.jpg
It means the waypoint is near a major boss
Thanks! I have a couple of other questions about adventure mode.

Do the bad guys level with your character in adventure mode? Like if I start with a brand new character in adventure mode will it get creamed or will the bad guys be level 1 as well?

Similar question for Paragon levels. My level 70 guy is now a level 12 paragon. Are the bad guys keeping pace or are they stuck on level 70?

Reaper of Souls is fantastic. The 5th act was huge and the adventure mode with bounties and rifts is fantastic. Really good expansion.
You only need to do the story once with one character. Then all other characters can just start in adventure.

Enemies dont get tougher based on your paragon points as far as I know. Enemy toughness at 70 is based on difficulty level. The idea is that youy progress through difficulty levels slowly as you gain gear and paragon points.

You can level from 1-70 all in adventure mode doing bounties/rifts/whatever so long as one of your characters has done the story mode. The enemies will scale and the difficulty will be based on the difficulty setting you choose. It's a lot easier to level to 70 by grouping with a high level and having them plow you through content.

The other great thing about leveling alts is that Paragon points are tied to your account. This means that if your main character had 40 paragon levels, then your new level 1 character will also have 40 paragon points to assign right away.

cool, great info, especially the last part.

I am going for the platinum trophy so I will be getting every character to level 70 eventually but I think I will spend a long time with my current first character in adventure mode.

I played story mode entirely on expert level and then moved up to master once I hit level 60. I don't feel my character is strong enough yet for torment.

For hardcore mode, do you have a recommendation for difficulty setting? I just want to get through it with out dieing. I know I could just set it to normal mode but was worried if the drops would be so bad it would not be quite as easy as I hope.....

I've never played hardcore, but I'd assume that while leveling to 70 just keep it on the easiest difficulty. Dont worry about drops because you level so fast you'll out-level them fast anyway.

I would assume Witch Doctor on normal is the way to go here. Spirit Walk and Spirit Vessel are great skills to help get out of trouble. Combine with the fact you can have pets/minions acting as meatshields while you sit back with ranged attacks.

The Indestructible Passive from the Crusader really sounds great for Hardcore in case you make a mistake. It almost seems like a quick get out of jail free card

"When you receive fatal damage, you instead become immune to damage, gain 35% increased damage and gain 107284 Life per Kill for 5 seconds.

This effect may occur once every 60 seconds."

Does actually sound good too...

Started playing payday 2 again. Moobin I remember you bought it so if you want to play it's fun coop. They did 1.3 GB update that changed a lot of things for the better.

One last Diablo question.

Is there any reason to horde the blood shards or should I just keep gambling them with the merchant?

No reason to save them, but dont use them until you're 70 at least. Check for guides on reddit or something that will tell you what items to shoot for on the shard vendor.

Also, in terms of not dying, I find some sort of 'escape now' ability to be great for this. On my Barb, I always keep Leap on my build when trying out a tougher difficulty. It's great for when you get cornered and a bunch of #######s suddenly drop 10 of those purple laser things.

Every class has an Indestructible Passive type skill (Unstable Anomaly for Wizards, Awareness for Demon Hunters, etc). Just choose the class you like.

If you have level 70 friends and 3-4 rift stones, you can be leveled from 1-70 in about an hour.

If you looking for a safe wizard build, something like this could work http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/13019691990

The Mirror Images can cast the skills you have (for a fraction of the damage) and are good decoys, Frost Nova can lock mobs in place, and Black Hole can absorb the arcane lasers, molten explosions, plague, and many other projectiles.

Evocation, crafting the 2 Captain Crimson pieces, a maxed out diamond in your helm, and 8% cooldown reduction on your shoulders give you about 40% cooldown reduction. The goal will be > 50% cooldown reduction, so the mirror images can always be up.

IMO, with adequate gear, 0 paragon, and a little bit of caution you could start torment 1 in hardcore.

Unlike most build that spam 1 or 2 skills, you'll be using 5 skills fairly often.

There is a big difference, for me, between something like Awareness and Unstable Anomaly compared to Indestructible for hard core builds IMO.

Indestructible unlocks at level 26, giving you the passive for the majority of the game.

Unstable Anomaly does not unlock until level 60 and Awareness does not unlock all the way to level 66. Those would be too late in the game to really benefit unless you are aiming for an end game build, which I am not. I just want to get to level 70 and clean out the trophies I need in hard core.

I'm still enjoying WWE 2k15 (PS4), although I've really only played in the My Career mode thus far. The character customization and match pacing are the big hits for me. My two main gripes are the lack of tutorial (I probably wasted a few hours at least just getting some of the basics down) and the story line meandering for a while (made longer by my first criticism). Overall though, it's a pretty fun game. I will probably finish the My Career mode before venturing on to the other modes, but I hope to play some other FBGs online eventually.

Holy #### that Game of Thrones download is ####ing BORING. I just spent 20 minutes as some broad in a room picking up random books and candles and staring out a window.

 who is this targeted towards?

Suckers who will buy anything with a licensed name on it.

Holy crap, this Diablo expansion gets better every time I play it.

I was killing a normal Treasure Goblin and when he died he left a portal into something called The Vault. My god, non stop money and legendaries. I picked up 12 million in gold and about 8 legendaries including my first legendary Gem.

I did not have so much fun raiding a room since Borderlands The Secret Armory of General Knox.

Kid and I are playing through D3. What y'all are saying is Greek to me. All I've noticed is that now at level 40 or so it seems we are doing the same areas over again. Is this normal?

Having fun, though. Nothing wrong with a little mindless monster slaughter x1000.

Are you playing the original D3 or Reaper of Souls?

The original D3 was just repeating the same areas as you progressed through the difficulty levels.

What we are talking about is the Reaper of Souls expansion which adds a large 5th act for story mode and then has this fun mode called Adventure Mode that unlocks after you beat the game with one character.

I picked up south park stick of truth on sale on steam, im enjoying it. If you like the show youll enjoy it.
Finished this a few days ago. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Gameplay was a huge draw for me. It reminded me of Mario RPG. Definite recommendation for fans of the show. Just don't play it in front of your kids, and of course, never ever fart on another man's balls.

This is a big difference. I was finishing up Diablo 3 on the 360 when my girlfriend was starting off in Reaper of Souls on the xbox one. She leveled up, caught me, and went past my level in the span of 15 hours compared to my combined 40 hours in D3 vanilla. In the new version there is no level caps holding you back from going onto the next difficulty for hour upon hours of grinding useless gear that will be instantly replaced. The expansion i much better.

I've decided to sell my PS3. I have seven games downloaded to the hard drive that I would ideally leave on there so whoever buys it gets the games. Is there a way for me to wipe all of my stuff (Netflix login, ps store acct which is linked to my bank acct, etc) without losing those games?

Hmm, I don't think so.

If you want to be safe I think you should do a system restore which formats the hard drive and returns all settings back to the factory. This will unfortunately also erase the seven games.

Whose user names on PS are Ajax35 and YouGotKilled?

I am unsure what I am sending you but every so often in diablo, I get a drop that is a "gift" labeled for one you guys listed above. I have been sending them as instructed in game. Have you received any and what am I sending?

I'm Ajax35. I played quite a bit of D3 several months ago, but I haven't played it at all recently. Now I'm curious to see what's waiting for me . . .

Sounds like a clever pull you back in stunt. Identify friends who have the game but haven't played in a while and use the relationship to send them something to pull them back in

Works for me. This is a pretty easy game to come back to when things are slow.

At that point, you should be able to reinstall the games, though.

Can he just save a game to a stick first as a single piece or are the downloaded games spread out in the systen in various areas?

I assume he does not want to login again to PS to re download since that would leave a fingerprint.

Ahh, cool. Let me know if you see anything if you ever power back up.

I have something in my game near my stash called a Mailbox, so I would check there first.

The gifts are of the "Legendary" variety so there might be something useful, but I am not sure.

Played through Uncharted 2 again over the last couple weeks.

Confirmed that it's still a top 5 all-time game for me. It's just awesome to look at, with tight gameplay, good humor, and a good story. Love it.

So I think instead of going new gen and deciding between XB1 and PS4, since neither has anything super awesome, I will get a cheaper PS3 and load up on games we have not had.

So far I am looking at stuff like:

Last of Us

Killzone trilogy pack

Resistance trilogy pack

Uncharted pack

Anything else super awesome? How were the Metal Gear Solids? Never played them. Ratchet and Clank?

Anything else super awesome? How were the Metal Gear Solids? Never played them. Ratchet and Clank?
Did this last year. Played the uncharted, metal gear, infamous, and God of war series. Also the Last of Us. Uncharted made the whole thing worth it and is the only series I'd really recommend to anyone. Last of Us really just wasn't my thing but that will make everyone else's must play list as well.

So I think instead of going new gen and deciding between XB1 and PS4, since neither has anything super awesome, I will get a cheaper PS3 and load up on games we have not had.

So far I am looking at stuff like:

Last of Us

Killzone trilogy pack

Resistance trilogy pack

which Ratchet and Clanks have you played so far?

Try Tools of Destruction. It should be extremely cheap right now and if you like the game style then pick up A Crack in Time.

Part platformer, part shooter, part puzzle solving, humorous story lines, great voice actors, overall a fun game if you don't mind a lighter more child like tone to your games.

At that point, you should be able to reinstall the games, though.
Can he just save a game to a stick first as a single piece or are the downloaded games spread out in the systen in various areas?

I assume he does not want to login again to PS to re download since that would leave a fingerprint.
Exactly. Oh well. It's Mass Effect 1-3, Red Dead Redemption w/ DLC, Uncharted 3, and a couple of old sports games that I'm losing. The model I have is the 320 GB from a few years ago in pretty excellent condition. I also have a few discs (God of War III, GTA V, Call of Duty Black OPS II), a controller, bluetooth remote, and a wireless Turtle Beach headset. Am I crazy to ask for $200? I have no concept of the resale value with stuff like this. Probably going to go the craigslist route.
