**Vikings at Packers** (-3, 43.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

I like the Malik offense better. Even before the Vikes big lead it felt like they were trying too hard to get big plays whereas with Malik it was methodically moved down the field.
It's probably expected as those WRs were probably itching for his return but...

Welp, guess I’m not getting much from Jacobs today at this point. Still hard for me to buy the Vikings as legit, but getting harder and harder to deny it.

Vikings are giving an enormous 15? yard cushion to WRs and cheating inside when it's an obvious run play. Love's gotta snap n throw it to the WR. That's just ridiculous

Love ran, got tackled, got up holding knee, and slight limp to huddle and the announcers glossed over it.

He looks fine. I guess it was a just me thing

I nearly benched Mahomes for Darnold not sure why I didn't pull trigger I mean Mahomes is as avg as it gets for Fantasy now.

For some reason I thought GB pass DEF was good my bad

Can’t advance it !?

I’m not too embarrassed to say that I don’t know that rule or why it exists.

Why dammit?
Vikings were victims of this one year

Why can’t you advance it?

ETA - I guess the holy roller play. A punt is essentially a fumble.

From da nterwebz:

In the NFL and NCAA, the punting team cannot advance a muffed punt on the same play because of rule restrictions. However, the punting team can recover the ball and continue the drive.

The Packers getting a TD there is all on O'Connell. Previous drive 3rd and 1 at the 40.
Clock is running, if you run there either you get a 1st down, or Green Bay uses 1 of 2 timeouts and then you punt.
Instead you try to throw stopping the clock. With the way Aaron Jones was running why are you throwing there?? :wall:

Reed bailing out his coach after his hissy fit almost cost his team 4 points
Coach has to keep his cool. But he had every reason to be pissed. He is calling TO and the one ref sees him then turns away from him. That is when he ran out on the field.

Again, still has to control himself better

Guessing Love plays the first drive and if they score they keep pushing. If not and they give a score up on the Vikings drive…we may see Willis.

My goodness. The Sam Darnold saga is turning into some movie.

This is like the Jim Plunkett story.
I like him and think he got unlucky going to the Jets.
I only know what I see on Red Zone. He appears to get really good pass protection and also has JJ. I'm not sure it's as much a turnaround for him as it is an awesome situation.

According to Packer beat writer Matt Schneidman LaFleur tried calling timeout EIGHT times. LaFleur still has to keep his cool but come on

Ouch yeah. Close but didn’t have it.

Or not?

Thought at least one of the overturned receptions for GB could have remained and that should not have been. What do I know anymore in the NFL.
I thought that was much clearer of an overturn than the Doubs catch they overturned. I'll never understand how or why refs make decisions.
