Vikings at Rams (1 Viewer)

Robison finally gets to the QB and forces a sack of Bradford. 3 and 18 is not the way to start...particularly when Steven Jackson drops the next pass.

Rams punting.

Let's see how they handle Mr Peterson.

ADP gets the ball twice and the Rams shut down the run. Ponder follows up with a pass to the WR on a slant pattern to _almost_ get the First Down.

ADP in to pick it up on 4th down...and Ponder rolls out to run for the conversion!

Most Viking fans want Musgrave fired but that QB bootleg on 4th and 1 was an excellent call. St Louis defensive front is stout. Peterson already having trouble.

Ponder is being quite a bit more aggressive today. I like it but it is dangerous. But rather that than tentative play. I think they'll be able to scheme some plays to get AP opened up, but StL doing a great job up front so far.

Look, if you're really looking for something to pull for it should be my efforts to make some poutine. Should be ready in about 20 minutes. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.

In the meantime, Steven Jackson just plowed through the Vikings for a big gain.

ADP has been bottled up so far as the Rams sell out to stop him. Why not when Ponder has been so shaky?

Vikings forced to punt.

Checking on poutine now. T&P appreciated.

STL scores the TD on a pass from Bradford to Brian Quick to tie the game.

I have a big plate of poutine and a pint of Black Butte porter in front of me. So I'm doing great, thanks for asking.

ADP with an 82 yard TD run!

SKOL!!!!!!!

:horns:

Ponder executes the draw play and ADP takes it right up the middle and goes basically untouched.

 (So much for Howie Long's sub-100 yard game prediction in the pre-game on Fox.)

Update: the poutine turned out OK. I think a better gravy is necessary next time. I had a big plate of it so if I stop updating it's either I've dozed off or had a heart attack.

Hey, I enjoy your commentary in these threads. Please stop eating poutine.

Video of you eating it or I'm calling :bs: here.
Hell, this is poutine we're talking about here. Poutine. It wasn't around long enough to record and I sure ain't eating another plate of it. I'm only human.

The Vikings are bullying the Rams on both sides of the ball. If it ain't the line shutting down the passing game with heavy pressure on Bradford it's the offensive line shoving the Rams out of the way while ADP spins, jukes, and pounds his way through the LBs and DBs.

Blair Walsh hits his second FG.

Nice to see that Ponder is overthrowing his receivers and limiting the chances for a pick.

3 minutes remaining in the half and the Rams really need to do something to get the crowd in the game. Their confidence will be shaken considerably if they have to punt.

Helpful advice here:

Door County White Cheddar Cheese Curds were absolutely the right choice. Put them on the fries and then put both in the oven for a few minutes to get things slightly melty and soft before drowning in gravy.

Can anyone watching the game tell me if amendolas out there all the time or is he limited?
Haven't seen him. If he's playing he's done nothing. Chris Givens is getting play.STL misses a 57 yard FG leaving a minute to play and the Vikings with the ball at midfield. If Minnesota scores the crowd will erupt and boo the Rams back to the stone age.

Really glad I picked up the Rams D and played them over the Broncos. Not as if any sustained drives, but still...thought Fisher would have them ready today. Oh - Bradford sucks
