Ray Rice with 11 YPC on seven carries, mostly bouncing to the outside, and involved in the passing game as well.

Yes, Tarvaris is like glass, it seems. Groin, Finger, knees. He gets hurt and I am beginning to think he's going to miss more time this year as well.

Starting to think there will be no rushing TD in Minni this year.

Gus Frerotte passed to Robert Ferguson to the left for 5 yard gain (S Hauschka made PAT)

Most of the rushing TD's came at a distance last year because Tarvaris couldn't pass the team into the red zone, so I'm not worried yet. I am just pleased to see them get the TD instead of a FG.Edit: Adrian's TD stats:TD DistanceRushing: 11, 67, 73, 35, 20, 1, 64, 46, 16, 13, 1, 8Receiving: 60Chester: TD DistanceRushing: 2, 10, 38, 6, 8, 2, 84

Tarvaris' knee ligament test passed but he's done for the night. Adrian Peterson seems hit or miss tonight.
I think AP looks good (other than carrying the ball in the wrong hand). Even when there's not been much there, he's moved the pile. T Jackson looked really good, too, until he got banged up. Is it me or does Sid Rice look a lot bigger than he did last year?

As for the Ravens, Troy Smith is making plays with his feet - with his arm, no so much. Ray Rice looks really smooth even on the smaller gains he just squirts through the hole.

My God, the Ravens better hope Frank Walker doesn't end up playing much at CB. He's bad & the Vikes know it - seems every pass is directed to his man.

For those wondering about the Ravens D, only 4 regulars started (plus Jarret Johnson, who may well end up starting): Ray Lewis, Trevor Pryce, Dawan Landry, & Bart Scott.
