Vince Young the next Elway or Bobby Hebert? (1 Viewer)

I will admit that I said Vince Young couldn't do what he did in college in the NFL and he hasn't lost a beat running wise. Yet his passing game is still mediocre(decent for a rookie, mediocre if he was a veteran). Will he improve and become a pocket passer who ran when he had to like Elway or will he just never become much of a passer and be a mediocre passer who ran like Hebert?

I have no way of answering that except to say that Young is as aware of his weaknesses as anyone, and he will work his ### off to correct them and make them strengths. Only time will tell, but if I had to bet, I'd bet in favor of VY.

well scotsman it appears we are finally in agreement on something about VY. Only time will tell. Although we share opposite opinions on his talent, we at least know it is way to early to state as fact anything about him as a player. I will say about him what i have always said of Vick. If I was a coach of one of these guys I would love to get to the big game and just turn them loose. You would of course be laying their careers on the line, which is why it can't really ever be done, but god it would be fun and kind of scary in a way to watch.
