I remember years ago when Joe Germaine had a QB rating ov 1110+ in the preseason for St. louis. I'm, just sayin' . . .I am a Titans homer, and have been pleased with the progress Vince has shown this preseason. The stats are totally meaningless, especially in this game where the Titans played their starters alot, and Green Bay rested most of their starters for practically the whole game. However, Young looks more comfortable out there. It is obvious the coaching staff has drilled into his head that he need to look to make plays from the pocket. There will probably be an akward adjustment time where he second guesses himself and doesn't run when he probably should, but overall this will help keep him healthy and more productive. The other encouraging thing I have seen from Vince is on short throws. It was almost painful to watch him throw a screen last year. He is still not good at it, but getting better. If Vince can even become an average passer, he will be very dangerous and productive in real life and fantasy. I am guarded, but I think he is on his way.Again, the stat-line is 100% meaningless from this preseason, but having watched most of his snaps, sometimes twice, this preseason, I can see that Vince has made real progress towards becoming a complete QB.And don't be surprised to see a few rinkles in the offensive game [plan from Chow. Chow was not sold on Vince at first, but he loves working with him now, and Chow is putting that brain of his to work. Finally, the receivers are better than most think. They are not top 1`0, and probably not even top half in the league, but they are not garbage like everyone thinks. Vince just needs smart guys that will go up and get the ball, because Vince is not a QB that will put it on the money and hit WRS in stride. I think he has some guys that can do that.
