If that is true... I would guess that the concussion suffered by Green is far worst than reported... because - why trade for a QB (especially a 2nd rounder?!) when your starter is out only a few weeks... when you have a good long term prospect in Brodie Croyle?...

A second rounder for Volek? That is a steal for the Titans.
Who was King Carl bidding against that he felt the need to up the price to a 2nd. I cannot believe that the Chargers were offering more then a 4th (and probably a 5th) for the third string QB on the Titans.
This is desperation at its best. KC must see its "window" closing, and moves for a veteran QB. But Volek doesn't give you that much more then Huard and he mortgages the future at a 2nd.
If this is true, it is a DUMB deal on the part of Peterson. Trade the 2nd for an offensive tackle.
