W6 Game Thread - Seattle v St.Louis (1 Viewer)

That's probably the division folks...congrats to the Seahawks...
Well if you're a Rams fan you have to like what you are seeing. I really thought Seattle would win this game easily. Rams are a good team.
Facing Seattle after a bye, have to agree. I think STL, especially with the schedule should fulfill with a wildcard slot, especially with how the East will beat each other up into 9-7 records.

The Rams are in good hands...10 wins is probably what it will take to get the WC, and if they win the games they should, they will have to steal one at Minn(not really a steal, but this is a toughest place to play in the NFL, imo), Car, or SD.

little early to call division with STL having 10 games & SEA with 11 games leftrams gave up 20 unanswered points at one point (i think), goingcoming from 21-7 to 27-20... still, though, they are obviously a different team with linehan at the helm, and will be more formidable competiton for hawks in west... just because it was a cakewalk last year doesn't mean it will be this season...if this game showed anything for the STL doubters, it is that they can compete with the big boys... didn't see game but it looks like passing game is coming around...rams CBs were kind of beat up... i think they play each other again in just a few weeks... that will be another litmus test of how competitive the nfc west crown will be down the stretch...come to think of it, that was a pretty impressive win (second half, anyway) for SEA, playing in hostile environment... & without SA... maybe it won't be as close at home with alexander next time around...certainly can't complain about hard luck as rams fan on last second 54 yard FG... few teams have had as much luck as STL in last few weeks with last second fumbles by warner & favre (& that was bound to catch up with them at some point... just wish it hadn't been this week :) )... little made their luck in latter case, but even then it took another GB OL bobbling it for butler to be able to fall on it & preserve win... didn't look like rams made their luck today... especially in second half...

nfl.com is missing a play at the end, it looks like.

1-10-SEA17 (1:38) M.Hasselbeck pass short middle to D.Hackett to SEA 31 for 14 yards (C.Chavous).

1-10-SEA31 (1:20) M.Hasselbeck pass deep right to D.Jackson to 50 for 19 yards (J.Carter).

1-10-50 (1:00) M.Hasselbeck pass incomplete deep right to D.Jackson.

2-10-50 (:56) M.Hasselbeck pass to D.Branch to SL 41 for 9 yards (Tr.Fisher).

1-10-STL32 (:17) M.Hasselbeck spiked the ball to stop the clock.

2-10-STL32 (:17) M.Strong right tackle to SL 31 for 1 yard (C.Chavous).

the ball goes from the 50 to the 32 on only one play for 9 yards. Anyone remember where the extra 9 yards went?

PENALTY on SEA-61-R.Tobeck, Illegal Formation, 5 yards, enforced at SL 31 - No Play. Timeout #3 by SL at 00:04. 3-14-SL 36 (:04) 3-J.Brown 54 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-48-D.Rackley, Holder-1-R.Plackemeier.The play by play is often wrong. I generally check the GAMEBOOK if there's a problem.

Who was the homo broadcaster who used the term "pirouette" no few than 2 times during this game? I swear, I switched over to this game a few times and heard Hasslebeck's spin move to avoid a sack descibed with the term pirouette, like he pirouetted away from the would be tackler. This is not freaking ballet. I saw the play and Hasselbeck looked nothing like THIS.

Did anyone else hear this and find is insulting to the game of football?
