Anyone know what Chad Johnson and Steve Smith have in common?
Santa Monica Junior College. That must have been a sight.
It was. I went there before UCLA.Go Corsairs!
The interesting thing is that neither of them were considered the best WR on that team. Demetrius Posey was killed in a car accident in 2003. Steve Smith actually started a charity named for Posey.

I know. Supposedly, Posey taught both of them about everything they know.

Any of you guys see closely where Chad Johnson was after the TD? HE was closest to Kelly but 5 other Bengals congratulatng with Johnson nowhere to be seen. Anyone see more?

Sounds like he's upset. I haven't seen many Cinci games due to location but I'm sure he's drawing double coverage. I'm surprised Cinci hasn't found a way to get him more involved.

I KNEW I should have started Nick Goings over C. Johnson! Man, what is going on with that guy this year?

He's catching around 51% of his targets which is low. TJ has been more efficient due to single coverage.

Just flipping thru games and watching a couple series. CJ isn't even in the progression on several plays.

Its ridiculous.

Steve Smith back in??
Unless I missed something, he's back in. Went in to get his ribs wrapped but has been playing since. No targets on the last set of downs though.BTW, Cincy has all the momentum right now. Looking a lot better on offense and the D is stepping it up.

another drive stalls from poor play calling.... maybe this team (Cincy) has relied on the big play too often in the past, and they're not really used to moving the chains?

That was much more stupid than gutsy. Course it always looks good when it works....

PS I know he has decent yds but has Rudi had even ONE carry that was anything other than an up-the-middle crunch for 2-3 yds....wtf he's not that much of a plodder, at least go off-tackle once in awhile.

In successive weeks, the Panthers have won in Baltimore and just missed winning in Cincinnati. Two road games against two of the AFC's best. They look pretty tough to me, especially as long as Steve Smith is in there. He wows me every week.
